In her twelfth oracle deck, metaphysical therapist Doreen Virtue offers yet another tool enabling individuals to forge stronger connections to their angels, obtain angelic guidance, and gently heal energetic blockages. A 44-card deck edged in the now-customary shiny gilt, Angel Therapy Oracle Cards strongly features Archangels Michael and Raphael, but also encompass a wide-range of healing and empowering themes.

From cutting energetic cords to healing addictions, clearing the chakras to manifestation, each of the Angel Therapy Oracle Cards depicts an instructive message below vibrant artwork, with the card theme at the top. Here are a few of the themes and messages from this deck:

* You Are Profoundly Clairvoyant - Trust what you see in your mind's eye as well as with your physical sight, for your spiritual vision helps you with healing, teaching, and guidance.

* Release - Work with Archangel Michael to let go of what no longer serves you or your purpose.

* Indigo - The person you're inquiring about is an "Indigo", meaning a highly sensitive, natural-born leader.

The 135-page companion book elaborates on each card meaning, and provides a brief overview of deck clearing, consecration, preparing for guidance, and performing readings. Because all of Virtue's decks are the same size, you can even shuffle them together for enhanced combined readings.

As with her previous deck (Magical Messages from the Fairies Oracle Cards), the gorgeous artwork in the Angel Therapy Oracle Cards is quite cohesive compared to earlier decks, displaying paintings from seventeen different artists whose bios and websites are mentioned in the back of the companion booklet. (I was thrilled to see two paintings from one of my favorite artists in this deck--U.K. artist Josephine Wall).

My only problem with this deck, as well as a few recent Hay House decks, is that the top of the box (glossy finish) is far too snug; it's as if all the air has been compressed out, making it very difficult to open. I was unable to open this box at first, so I asked my husband to try. After a few minutes of struggle, he couldn't open it either! (We didn't want to handle the box too strongly with fear of damaging it.)

Finally, after inserting a butter knife around the edges and numerous attempts at teasing the lid off, I was successful. However, I'll have to store this particular deck in special bag for easier access. (Those who have arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome or severe tendonitis will have great trouble opening this "healing" deck unfortunately...)

I have used the Angel Therapy Oracle Cards three times already and, despite thorough shuffling, received amazingly consistent and insightful advice about paying attention to dream symbols and my frequent clairvoyant images (drawing the Your Are Profoundly Clairvoyant card each time).

I think this particular Virtue deck is one of the most (if not THE most) attractive of them all, with particular emphasis on equipping individuals to blossom into the highest version of themselves, as well as highlighting innate gifts, opportunities for service, and forms of psychic protection.

Angel Therapy Oracle Cards also identifies restrictive perspectives requiring release and relationships that may need tending, as well as ways of holistic healing.

I highly recommend this lovely deck to those who enjoy Doreen Virtue's approach, as well as therapists, healers, teachers and seekers desiring to elevate consciousness, alleviate suffering and nurture the whole person.

I am a huge fan of Doreen Virtue, and have several of her decks. I started not to buy this one because I was afraid it would be repetitive, since I already have 3 of her other decks. (It isn't.) It has the gold edges just like her Ascended Masters deck. I am an experienced reader, and I have a hard time being objective when I do tarot readings for myself. This is not a tarot deck, and it has obvious meanings that don't change when combined with other cards. I love using it for myself, and I am also going to use it for clients, who are very drawn to card decks with gold edges.

I just ordered this deck not seeing many pictures of the cards. I opened the pack, looked through the deck and did a little meditational one-card reading for guidance for the day. I realized my thoughts were on the topic of lightworkers and that I felt I had the characteristics of one but wished I had confirmation that yep, that's me.

I got back to focusing on picking a card from the deck that was my angelic message for the day. I closed my eyes, picked a card, turned it over and it was "Earth Angel - You are a lightworker who has come to Earth to teach about love."

This was my first reading with this deck and I just flipped out. Getting that card was absolute confirmation that my thinking was on track. This exactly answered my question!

These cards seem to answer the most spiritual questions you may have. Of course I highly recommend them!

My experiences with Oracle Cards are mostly with Doreen Virtue sets. The first I bought was Saints and Angels as I totally fell in love with how beautiful the illustrations were and also with the theme of the deck. With Angel Therapy I feel as though it explains what was not thoroughly explainable using her other deck of Saints and Angels.

The illustrations of Angel Therapy are nice. I believe what makes the deck alluring is because of its gilded edges. I like Angel Therapy because it gives you instructions on what to do about the situation... like its your best girlfriend who is just so wise helping you out. I like consulting this deck in the morning as it gives you a sense of peace... as if you can control whatever is going to come your way and you can do it with a smile because you got some help ahead of time.

I think everyone should own an Oracle deck, especially Doreen's because her decks always give you a sense of optimism. From her decks I truly understand that good and evil do exist in the same space but we always have the chance to choose the path of good. I use her decks along with playing cards or Tarot cards because playing cards or Tarot cards can be so to the point and harsh and negative- invokes a lot of paranoia through fear. Her cards tell you the same message as what the Tarot may say but she gives you the positive alternative you should choose. If I didn't have that type of guidance in using cartomancy or with the Tarot, I think I would have made some very wrong base decisions in the past.

The only downside about this deck is that the deck isn't a volumous one, so when you shuffle them its hard to shuffle. I don't know if there are just less cards in this deck or if they're pretty thin.

Update: I've had these cards for a little of two months or more and recently these cards have really opened up to me and become fully accurate. I inquired with this deck about a work related issue that's been pressing me for some time. Many times, when asking about it, I would get the "Be Willing to Forgive" card. One time, before I did a reading I said "I hope that Forgive card doesn't show up again", and it did. The book tells you what you need to do to be on your path to forgiveness which is praying to Archangel Raphael. I'm not big into praying, especially for myself, but because this card would never go away I had to do it. After doing so, my work situation seemed more bearable but furthermore this card has not shown up in any readings pertaining to the same question since then.

Another neat thing is that recently we went to a seminar for work. Guess what card I pull up for that day, Workshops and Seminars! Ha! It says "You're also guided to attend workshops to further your spiritual path and education... ask Archangel Raphael to support everything in this endeavor- including tuition fees, transportation, lodging, time off from work, and so forth" This was so neat because the seminar was free and we got transportation from work to attend and get paid for it.

There have been other really wonderfully accurate readings from this deck that I am looking to purchase one other Doreen Virtue deck to compliment this one. I never feel alone with this deck and makes me contemplate what's really on the other side.

I sat down, on a Wednesday, with my new Angel Therapy Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue and asked for assistance with a persistent issue in my life. I chose the card "God Box". A God Box is a box that you put, in writing, your prayers. It is very similar to a prayer box that you can wear on a chain around your neck. When I picked the card I thought it was a wonderful idea and was very grateful for the suggestion. I asked the angels to help me find the most perfect God Box for my desk. On Friday of the same week, I met with my two close friends as it was my birthday and they were taking me out for dinner. One of my friends asked me to open my gift from her. I was so delighted to find a beautiful box with angel wings as a cover and an angel feather inside the box. On the outside of the box is engraved: "God sends His love and blessings...with wings of angels." Thank you, Doreen Virtue, for these new oracle cards and your dedication to helping us connect with God and His angels!

Hello All, I am a first timer with Doreen's Angel Therapy & Ascended Masters cards. I received them both on the same day which is great because I was so lost and in dire need of a reading for life purpose & love. I followed the instructions exactly and placed the cards to my heart and said my own prayer about what I needed help with for all the readings. I did a 3 card reading with the Angel Therapy with the question:

What do you want me to know. I received Workshops & Seminars, Law of Attraction, & Integrity. These are extremely accurate for me because I just started learning about Reiki and I purchased Steve Murray's books, cds, dvds, crystals, & gemstones. I look forward to attending a seminar as well when available with either Steve or another interesting practitioner in Philadelphia PA. For the Law of Attraction card, I had to end 2 friendships because those women weren't on my level and we began to clash. They don't share the same beliefs as I do about friendship and the more spiritual you become the more clarity you receive about people that surround you and their intentions which is not for your highest good. So that was extremely accurate and the last card was Integrity which wants me to align my actions with attracting more positive relationships. So if I'm growing spiritually I have to attract better friends, and relationships etc without compromising my integrity.

Next the Ascended Masters Cards, I did a 3 card reading but my spirit told me to flip another card so it became a 4 card reading. My questions were: What can you tell me about my love for ___? Am I right for loving him? I got, you are seeing this situation accurately. (My guy loves me but chose someone else who is not good for him and he's miserable & feels trapped but we still love each other, basically) It said to trust my intuition & gut feelings, ignore critics (my girlfriends & it feels like others in the world don't agree with me still loving him since he chose someone else.) Trust your feelings about this situation because they are valid. Even if people aren't supporting you spirit is. Other people will soon come around to your point of view.

I mean how on point is that! Confirmation that I'm not crazy!!! LOL! I mean when I was with him I felt at home! My spirit felt such euphoria! Since we broke up I just haven't felt right! I dream about him, I can feel his energy like he's in my house! I can spot him on a crowded street. True story, one day I was walking down the street and like my alert system (which reminds me all too much of Peter Parker's spider sense) went bazerk! I just felt like I rode on a roller coaster! That scary fun thrill, and I turned around and he was walking right on the opposite side of the street. We were on a one way street and he was walking right beside me on the opposite side with not another person on the whole block, just the two of us.

Aaaand there was a time when I felt this and he was walking right behind me, true story I swear! I never felt nothing like this in my entire life! But our story is so freakin complicated that I can't talk about it to those I know because they just don't get it, they don't understand. I can feel when this man thinks of me even when he had sex with this other woman. My power is so cool, but I'm so lonely because I can't talk with anyone who is too close-minded to understand all of this. I can open a book, magazine, newspaper, and his name is right there. I can turn on the TV and they're announcing his name. At work the customers would have either his first name or the last name first and his first name last, I swear! I've questioned am I going crazy! If people say get over it, how could I when his name is everywhere and he's all in my dreams! I've prayed, meditated, I've asked Archangel Michael to cut the energy cord, I did it all!

Power of Joy is the second card, which means to find humor, happiness and joy within the situation and know that I will be happy in the end because we will find our way back to each other. Detach from drama is the third, which means to let him live his life and make his own choices, stay clear and away, don't get pulled into the drama between him and the other woman. The Last card was the Twin Flame! It said the person that I am inquiring about is my twin flame! It says that he will come back and to rely on divine timing!

Ok that is great right! But I'm starting to second guess myself and what I was told, Scorpios are so analytical we always need confirmation! So I thought why not ask the Angel Therapy cards the same question. Well I got: Heart Chakra, Heal Away Addictions, and Visualize Success!!! This is soooooo accurate! It's on point because, I do need to heal regarding my emotional pain, and I need to stop worrying about when this desire of reuniting will manifest! I also admit that I got addicted to calling psychics, shopping, and eating, LOL! So I am going to let the angels take over with helping me get my life in order but these cards are the best gift I could have ever bought for myself. I am a Reiki Master, and the Main Art for the card front reminds me of Angels performing Reiki.
That said, these cards are really beautiful, and very touching. I usually work with tarot cards, but I wanted a more neutral deck for my clients, some people understandably get nervous choosing tarot cards. The purpose for healing is to put the client as ease, and these are perfect. I wanted a deck that was gentle and could easily convey truths in a positive and loving manner. They are perfect!!

I actually bought this for my awesome mum-in-law who loves angels and faeries. But....when I got it, I couldn't give it up. LOL So I bought some other things for my mum-in-law and kept this set. It's amazing, I started using the suggestions on the cards and I have experienced some healing on long-unresolved issues which I truly didn't expect. It's wonderful!!!
