In The Arms Of The Angels,
By Roberta Hotard "Mrs. H" (Somewhere here, Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Angel (MP3 Download)
I still cry when I listen to it . I dedicate Angel to my parents Dennis 2/14/07 and Leslie 4/1/1999. I miss them both terribly. Neither one has any pain or suffering any longer. It is a horrible feeling to lose a loved one, whether it be our parents, brother, sister , a friend or just someone who we are close to in our heart. I prayed when my mother was going into surgery and the whole 10 hours and wondering why it took so long, they were trying to get her heart to beat on its own. The doctor came out and said its beating on its own but she will not make it, we asked when was she going to pass away and he replied 30 minutes. She lived 1 hour but never woke up.
My dad Dennis had been ill for 4 years solid and I was his care giver, administered Iv antibiotics, took him to doctor appointments and was by his side when a machine was making him breathe for 7 long weeks in ICU. My dad passed away on Valentines Day evening 2007. A day I do not celebrate any longer to express love . He passed away that evening when I was not there, after he told me he would see my on the 15th. He went to be with his sweetheart my mother. I had noone to console me, comfort me or talk too, my husband was too far away and that special friend was not in my life. Thank you Sarah for the warm touching song to comfort me to know they are no longer in pain. Though you all didnt need to read, I felt this was a way to give something back to my parents for they gave me everything and with lots of LOVE. I was their only child and never went without. I blessed them with 3 grandaughters who they loved very much and spoiled them also. They are in the arms with an angels and listening to Elvis. To anyone who has lost someone close to your heart this is for you too. Love, Roberta There is just times when i need to talk with them, ask a question in hoping I will get the RIGHT answer I was looking for. Just alot of sadness that I have gone through and they would help me in anyway if I needed them. Im glad I dont get sick for my mom made the best soup when I did get sick. My dad was a good person for if you needing someone to talk to he was that great listener and would keep it to hiself. Gosh I miss them so much! Love your daughter |
