3.0 out of 5 stars cool
Angela's got a wonderful vocal range. I can see why people compare her vocal range to that of Mariah Carrey.

It's a shame so many great pop cds are either overlooked or not released...hopefuly Angela will have better luck in the future.

Recomended songs: Picture Perfect, Kissing You, So Fly, Stay Together, Best Friends, Wish We Could Be Free, Good...

5.0 out of 5 stars New Comer, July 26, 2000

I love Angela Via's album. She the best new artist I have hear in a long time. I love how she writes and produce her own materials. I think she's the only teen artist that writes their stuff to sing. She has all different types of music on this album. Every song has a different style.

This is the best. Her voice is so pretty. She is also a nice person. The tracks show are voice ranges and she goes back to her roots in the spanish version of Picture Perfect. This is a great CD to buy. There are slow songs, songs to dance, there is a song for everything. So what are you waiting buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE ANGELA VIA!, December 7, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Angela Via (Audio CD)
Angela's CD is awesome, from what I've heard of it. She can sing like the young Mariah Carey and most of her songs are really uplifting, like Catch Me If You Can, Good Time, Girls & Boys, and Best Friends. There are also some rare songs of hers, that aren't on this tracklisting, like Papi Chulo and Girl Playa #1. They're awesome too! Now if only Atlantic would release the CD, it would sell millions!! I signed a petition to get it released. You should check that out because this CD needs to be heard!! I LOVE ANGELA VIA! :D

5.0 out of 5 stars Angela Via Review, November 4, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Angela Via (Audio CD)
Angela Via is one of the great female singers who sing like angels. She is up there with, Christina Aguilera and other great singers. One of her great songs she has sang that gave her a one step foward was a song called, Catch Me If You Can, from the soundtrack of, Pokemon: The First Movie. Then she kept storming with other great songs such as, Picture Perfect, Wonderland, (Song from pokemon Movie:2),I Don't Care, and Best Friends. Best Friends is from another soundtrack called, The Little Vampire. But These Songs wouldn't be such great hits without Angela's wonderful and beautiful voice. That has touched our hearts.

I just got the cd today and it totally rocks! Angela Via is really pretty and has an awesome voice! Finally there is a singer that doesn't have blonde hair! I think it's awesome how Angela writes her own music. I think that she's really going to change pop music.

5.0 out of 5 stars A unique offering from the teen pop craze, December 30, 2000
This review is from: Angela Via (Audio CD)
Angela Via's original debut album--while a definite teen pop album--contained a variety of musical styles, which made it one of the most unique albums to come out during the teen pop era. From the bubblegum "Girls & Boys" to the "extra mild salsa" "Kissing You" to the soaring "Wish We Could Be Free," Angela's album deserved more attention that it received. The album remained shelved until 2004 when the tracks became available for legal download on Real Player. While Angela and her music have matured greatly since this album was first due to be released, it is still a great album to listen to for reminiscing about the teen pop era. A couple of the album's highlights include the higher-than-high note in "Picture Perfect" and the twenty-second note in "Start Over Again." (Updated 5/30/2006)
