5.0 out of 5 stars Phenomenal album from Angela! February 6, 2005
By Preston
Format:Audio CD
Angela Winbush really sounds soulful on this album that came out in 1994. This album was really overlooked in '94, but it had hits like the funky bass-heavy Treat U Rite, which had Angela having her hip-hop thing going on! But it gets better as she does a wonderful remake of Marvin Gaye's Inner City Blues. Keep Turnin Me On is smooth sounding R&B at its best. Her duet with former husband Ron Isley is so silky smooth. The rest of the album is so top notch with Angela producing and playing the music on it. She's her own one woman thing on this album and she can write some dynamic songs! This is one of her best along with the '89 album. She is one of the best soul singers on the level of Aretha, Gladys, Patti and others!

5.0 out of 5 stars Angela where are you????? December 2, 2003
By S. Guy
Format:Audio CD
Angela Winbush is one of the most underrated R&B singers of all time. I cannot get enough of her soulful tunes. Every song on each of her albums is made with quality and aims to be a hit. There's no filler on any of her albums. I'm fortunate to have discovered her via radio in Wilmington Delaware, because when I moved to Virginia, she was no where to be heard. How can this be? I highly recommend this and any of her albums.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wondeful! December 16, 2002
Format:Audio CD
I have been listening to R&B for some time and I can tell that this cd is definitely on my top 5! The voice is great and the arrangements thrilling. I like playing to tunes with rhythms that cannot be memorised! to me, such a tune will definitely stand the test of time. this cd has been around for some time and it still sounds great! favourite track is 3. whenever i feel down i just play this cd! it is great!

5.0 out of 5 stars Heaven January 23, 2002
Format:Audio CD
On a sunny day while cruising in your ride, pop in AW and feel the breeze, straight to heaven. This CD is calming and evokes feelings of love, adventure, and satisfaction. Angela Winbush is in a stunning class all by herself.

The smooth, mellow rhythms combined with excellent production make this one of the best "adult" R&B CDs that I have heard in the last 10 years. When I, as a man, have to remind myself not to sing aloud the chorus of "I'm The Kind of Woman" you know that there is some tremendous music that I am trying not to let carry me away.
I want more Angela Winbush, and soon!
