Angelenos: A Masterstroke, January 20, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Angelenos (Audio CD)
West Coast wunderkind Mark Humphreys astounds with every heart-wrenching, emotion-packed moment of this fabulous album. He is a songwriter's songwriter, taking the craft to a level rarely seen in an album so early in one's career. Make no mistake - Humphreys has worked long and hard honing his skills, but to a certain extent, this man truly has a gift.
BIO NOTE * A little-known fact regarding the yellow Volkswagen on the cover - this is the very car in which the troubadour's fateful accident left him without the use of his left Achilles heel. It pains him every time Air Quality Index (AQI) levels are above 100. He never mentions this, and will deny it if questioned.
