There's a lot to be said for using a Thomas Guide, March 18, 2011

For decades, people in Los Angeles navigated their huge city using Thomas Guides. Nowadays, electronic navigation has made great inroads on the business of road atlases. But there are still good reasons to own a Thomas Guide, even if most of your navigation is done electronically.
First, it's useful to *understand* where you are going and not just follow what the electronic device tells you. For instance, I live on a street whose name is duplicated by a different street 15 miles away. Sometimes people trying to find me have gone to the other place, blindly following what their electronic device told them. Spending two minutes with your Thomas Guide before you go somewhere new can be very useful.
Second, the Thomas Guide never breaks, loses touch with its signal, or has its battery run out.
Third, the Thomas Guide, unlike many electronic sources, tells you what city you're in.
I've always enjoyed using the Thomas Guide. I'd give it five stars if they printed it on somewhat larger pages in bigger type--it can be hard to read in dim light.

The book was like new and exactly as promised. It came in a very timely manner. I would purchase from them again.

Hey! It's the Thomas Bros. Guide! What more can I say? It helps you to get Un-Lost if you don't plan,
and it helps you to plan when you're sick of getting lost! They've been a part of my parents automotive
navigation since before I was born (Many moons ago...), and I just recently picked a NEW ONE up for
myself, because there are times when I just don't want to get lost. I suggest that YOU do the Same!
