The crosswords by these authors that comes in the Sunday Los Angeles Times are my favorite ones of all. They aren't as difficult as the ones in the New York Times and yet they are quite challenging. In other words, just right, at least for me. They have themes and tricky clues to keep things interesting. One of these books will last me quite a few months, as I work on them on & off. The spiral book lays flat and they are printed on nice white paper. These make good gifts for crossword fans.

The puzzles have been good. However, the paper is the poorest quality and bleeds through. I doubt that we'll order from this series again.

Not as challenging as NY Times Sunday Xwords, but ok if you like puzzles involving puns, word play, etc.

Gave this book to my 98 year old dad who loved it! Large enough for impaired eye-sights. Try it, you'll like it.
