Comprehensive yet well written,

This review is from: Angelfishes & Butterflyfishes: Reef Fishes Series (Hardcover)
If there is anything remaining that you would like to learn about either of these two major groups of marine fishes, I don't know what it is! General group information (reproduction, distinguishing characteristics). Very detailed accounts of each fish species, including size, location where found, how captured (if cyanided), average temperature where located, maximum size, aquarium suitability, what they eat, suitability for reef aquariums, ability to get along with conspecifics and coinhabitants, necessary lighting conditions, variations in colors, hybridized species, etc. Great photos too. This one will definitely stay on my reference shelf!
