Angelica the Grape
By
Nancy Krulik
Angelica the Grape is a book in the Rugrats book series. In this book Angelica is mad. The babies won't play her game, Castle so Angelica tries to
Trick them to get them to play her game. She tells the babies that she has magical powers, and she makes up things about stuff that happens to convince them that she can do magic.
These are some of the things that Angelica does. When the sprinkler goes on Angelica says that she made it rain and she could make it stop. She turns off the sprinkler without the babies knowing it and they are amazed. Another time she said she could make the car lights go on and off. Actually, she used the car's remote control to make the lights go on and off.
At first the babies fell for her tricks and Angelica was happy, but then things started to change for her.
The author wrote this book to be funny. It has a lot of funny action that makes the reader laugh. Her book is interesting and funny. That is why I like the book. I think other kids in first and second grade would enjoy this book, too.
