Angelina Ballerina is great!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Angelina Ballerina - The Magic of Dance (DVD)
I really like Angelina Ballerina. My dream is to become a prima ballerina, just likeAngelina. In Angelina and Grandma, Angelina was really excited about wearing a tutu worn by Miss Lilly when she was young. And she accidently rips it. Grandma blames Angelina for leaving the birthday cake out in the rain by mistake. In William the Conjoror, William thinks he's really made Angelina disappear. Henry was sad that he'd never see his cousin again. In Miss Lilly Comes to Dinner, Angelina tried very hard to make her dinner like the Moussky Restraunt. But things got from bad to worse when Angelina tried to impress Miss Lilly. But Miss Lilly thinks Angelina's spoiled nothing. In Angelina's Valentine, Angelina thinks her Valentine gifts are from Sammy. Sammy tried to trick William into making him give her the gifts and take her yo-yo. William has a crush on Angelina, but Angelina doesn't know. Sammy thinks he's the Romeo of Mouseland because he knows William has a major crush on her.

Young dancers will be inspired!,
This review is from: Angelina Ballerina - The Magic of Dance (DVD)
The Angelina Ballerina series of books come alive in the animated series. This particular DVD contains the episodes "William the Conjuror," "Angelina and Grandma," "Miss Lilly comes to Dinner" and "Angelina's Valentine." The episodes themselves run to about 12 mins each, interspersed with actual takes of dance lessons, either ballet, folk etc.
The animation is clear and remains faithful to Helen Craig's original illustrations and the stories are faithful to Katharina Holabird's original material. The series will appeal to aspiring young dancers and is recommended for preschoolers and up. |
