According to angel therapist Doreen Virtue, those who regularly contact their angels develop a closer relationship with God, as well as experience more peaceful, confident lives. Reporting increased happiness, those who connect with angels are less afraid of death and the future, largely because they feel watched over.

In her newest book Angels 101, Doreen introduces readers to different types of angels and the various ways to contact them. Angels respond to the "prayer of the heart", she asserts, so merely thinking or visualizing your request is enough to set your angels in motion!

Explaining the historical role of these spiritual messengers and helpers, the author provides a fascinating tour of the angelic, including archangels, guardian angels, thrones, powers, cherubs, and more. Doreen highlights several spiritual systems who embrace angels, including Christianity, Kabbalah, Islam, and Judaism, and explains how angels can help protect, find lost objects, illuminate life purpose, heal relationships, provide guidance, and so on.

Arguably, the most intriguing part of Angels 101 is the electrifying anecdotes. I love the story of Doris, who was driving down the highway when her car's hood flew up. She swerved down an embankment, stopping only inches from deep water. Twelve people witnessed the accident--and they all stopped to see how she was. They also inquired about the passenger that was in her front seat. However, Doris was traveling alone that day.

Or so she thought.

This 101-page book also provides:

Although I've read many of Doreen's books (including Archangels and Ascended Masters, Angel Medicine, and Angel Numbers), I still found great value in Angels 101. She deftly describes the historical role of angels, as well as their personal roles as messengers and helpers--encouraging readers to call upon these beautiful ones for concerns both large and "small". (However, according to Doreen, there are no "small" concerns. If it matters to you, it matters to the angels!) I was reminded that we often "have not because we ask not", especially in terms of seeking aid and comfort from the angels.

Angels 101 is an excellent primer for those new to connecting with angels, as well as an inspirational, informative reminder for those familiar with both angels and Doreen's work.

This is a wonderfully informative book on getting to know the basics on Angels. It is written with out a lot of jibberish and gets right to the topic. It is short and an easy read and really drew me in on a topic I was unsure of. Since reading this book I have become a great fan of Doreen Virtue and have purchased several of her other books relating to Angels and Angel Therapy and my life is much improved! I will keep this one as a reference.

This is an excellent book for people new to the topics of angels and spirituality. It also serves as a nice "refresher course" for people already knowledgeable about angels and angel communication. There are heartwarming angel anecdotes and easy to understand tools for communicating with the angelic realm. A helpful addition (or beginning) to your spiritual book collection!

We have always heard about angels. They are seen in churches, you find them in many homes and you especially see them as decorations around Christmas time. Angels 101 is an excellent tool for anyone who wants to know more about angels and how to work with them. Angels certainly want to work with you, all we have to do is ask.

The information I absorbed from Angels 101 is helping me on a daily basis to raise my energy levels. I usually remember now to ask my angels for help and now I know a few names to call.

While I was reading the book, I actually received daily guidance for issues in my life, like eating guidance! (I am overweight and have been unsuccessful with losing inches.) I am very grateful to the angels for their help and feel reading Angels 101 is time well worth spent!

A surprisingly effective and fun little book to keep out for reference. It's become a useful companion for me and my family and friends, for dealing with daily challenges and decisions, something I didn't expect!

What a great book! This is a great way of introducing yourself or someone else to Angels, and how to work & connect with them. It has lots of useful information on the signs Angels give you, which ones deal in which situations (Although you can call any Angels on for help), how to pray, and lots of other stuff. It's a really good book, and I refer to it a lot for any help on my relationships with my Angels. Highly Reconmended.

If you are just getting started in your personal relationship with your Angels, this is the place to start. Doreen Virtue used to recommend her book, Healing with the Angels, to help people begin their journey with connecting with their Angels. However, she felt prompted to really focus on a 'basic' how to book, which is why her book is titled, "Angels 101". This is an excellent resource, for it helps answer many of your questions regarding Angels. You are introduced to the Archangels and what each specializes in. There is an explanation that as your intuition grows, you'll see colors and what the colors represent. This is a great way to get started. As you move forward in your relationship with your Angels, I highly recommend attending a Doreen Virtue class. I received my certification as an Angel Therapy Practitioner© and it was such a healing experience for me. Doreen is an amazing teacher and I'm grateful for all she teaches, for now I have such a wonderful friendship with the Angels and Archangels. It's a great journey...I am glad I'm on it!

This book is an excellent introduction to the angelic realm! Doreen Virtue covers all of the basics in this beautifully illustrated hardback book. Topics include how to connect with the angels, interpreting signs from the angels, and various different ways that the angels can protect us. Also included is a list of the Archangels with an explanation of how each one can assist you with your life purpose or career. In addition, Doreen provides valuable information on seeking help with relationships issues, as well as health issues, and even includes specific wording that you can use to ask the angels to assist you in these areas.

A wonderful aspect of this book are the many inspiring stories, of people that have been helped by the angels, that are generously sprinkled through out the book. If you have never done any work with the angels before, you will find that your life will be truly enriched after reading this book. On a personal note, I've had numerous experiences with the angels helping me in every area of my life. I am so grateful to Doreen Virtue for providing me with information on how to connect to the angels, through this book and others that she has written. This book is a wonderful addition to any spiritual library. The beautiful artwork and uplifting content also make this the perfect book for gift giving!

As always Doreen is encouraging us to comunicate more and fuss less. What wonderful messages she puts out there, you cannot here it enough. Communication becomes what you make of it,she has such a soft and wonderful way of telling us this. Wonderful primer for everyone, you can't go wrong.
