True-to-life stories of angels appearing,guarding and helping real people. Just when the world seems mad and chaotic, what a nice way to spend the afternoon, reading stories of hope. Interesting, with a unique take on a VERY POPULAR subject. It's a "Feel Good" gift for any occasion. Even the cynical will be touched....I am the proof in that pudding.

I was given this book to read by someone and wasn't real sure of it, but once I read it I wanted to start reading more about angels.This is real life accounts of how guardian angels have been there in peoples lives.It makes you think and wonder about all the times you yourself have had close encounters and wonder if it were your guardian angel protecting you.It's a feel good book.

I only have myself to blame for buying this book. I quickly scanned through it, then bought it expecting to read edifying anecdotal accounts of the interactions of angels with human beings. Yes, I do believe.... However, I was disappointed to discover these stories are about 90% "fluff," i.e., most of the facts and story have nothing to do with angels or the visitation in question. If you took out all the fluff, the portions of this book that actually tell the 12 stories about angelic intervention would likely occupy fewer than 20 of this book's 260 pages. If you are looking for light reading in the vein of gossipy, biographical snapshots of people during a moment of their lives, then dig in; you'll be pleased. However, if you want a more mature treatment of the subject I suggest you look elsewhere. In spite of the author's assurance that "the visits are based on actual reports as described in print and on television," my reading left me with a vague, uneasy feeling that I was reading fiction. As a mental exercise, to see if I was being too harsh in my judgement, I took a couple of the stories and "Googled" the facts presented about the angelic encounters in an Internet search. No, I did not Google names or places or any identifying data that the author said he had already changed. I only used key words that would identify the angelic visitation stories if they existed in print. Well, I didn't find anything on the Internet. I do not doubt that angelic visitations occur. This book, however, feels like a fabrication.

If you like real life accounts on people's encounters with their guardian angels then you will love this book.

I found this book to cause me to think of different times when things happened to me that I did not give any thought too but now after reading this book I find that I had Angels helping me. Knowing that I have an Angel to help me when I really need one does give me an inner Peace that I otherwise would not have.

I love anything that is uplifting and inspirtional. These angel stories can definitely put you in a cheerful mood. If you like angels, and inspiration, this book is for you.
