This book is another great resource for angel imagery. Sculptures, paintings, and illuminated manuscripts shimmer on every page. Angel Portraits, Heavenly Messengers, Hosts of Angels, Patterns of Flight, Battles of Good and Evil, Guardian Angels and Companions, and a useful index are all included. While the art depicted is predominantly Christian in nature, this book is still an enjoyable resource for anyone (religious or not) who is interested in angelic mythology and art.
