Book Description

March 2, 2007
Two of today's top investigative journalists discovered the reality of the world's most foremost biker gang — The Hells Angels. With an estimated 2,500 members in 25 countries, the Hells Angels have inspired a global subculture of violence and fear. Sher and Marsden unflinching look at how law enforcement agencies worldwide are trying to stop — with little success — the biker gangs from spreading their violent outlaw creed around the world.

There is a terrific movie just waiting to be made out of this book.' -- Daily Mail 'Frightening stuff ... a virtual anthology of badness; 452 pages of documented murder and mayhem perpetrated by the worst of the worst.' -- Sun Herald 'A true crime book that reads like a fiction thriller' -- Canadian Press on THE ROAD TO HELL by Marsden and Sher --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

2.0 out of 5 stars Boring, July 26, 2009
This review is from: Angels of Death: Inside the Biker Gangs' Crime Empire (Paperback)
There are much better books out there on the Hell's Angels. The author does way too much jumping around back and forth and that makes this book very hard to follow. There is good info in this book concerning what goes on worldwide, but unfortunately, the author never stays on topic long enough to make the story and enjoyable read.

1.0 out of 5 stars Regurgitated police talking points, November 23, 2011
By
This review is from: Angels of Death: Inside the Biker Gangs' Crime Empire (Paperback)
This is another in a line of books written by either snitches, undercover cops looking for a big payday, or "investigative reporters" who think an investigation is copying police reports. If you are really interested in what the Outlaw Motorcycle world is like, and want to find out how the ATF and cops really work, buy "OutBad" and "The Aging Rebel, Dispatches from the Motorcycle Outlaw Frontier" by Donald Charles Davis. Unlike all these "biker" expert books you will find out what it is like to wear an Outlaw club patch and how much the cops and ATF really obey the law.

2.0 out of 5 stars confusing!, June 26, 2008
By
This review is from: Angels of Death: Inside the Biker Gangs' Crime Empire (Paperback)
I have read many books on this topic, and this one was very confusing. The author jumped from topic to topic and I never felt that each story finished. I recommend Under and Alone or 3 Can Keep a Secret if 2 are Dead.
