5.0 out of 5 stars Petrek is a master story teller March 11, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This is the third of Soren Petreks new novels. Like Cold Lonely Courage, the protagonist is again a former special forces agent from the one time WWII French resistance. In this latest work, Madelaine is forced back into the middle east on her latest mission. This time it is personal. Her nephew has been kidnapped and the family is looking to her to mount a rescue as the US government is unable to help. This is a great read. Angels is a must for your library.

Wow! Another Great Read from an Outstanding Author! I am so... Impressed with the Skill of the writer, Soren Petrek. I have been captivated till the very End of each of his books, and left wanting more. Another book, anything to keep the Captivation alive. I love how in each book, I find myself running along side the Characters, wanting to jump into their stories, and be able to help motivate their next move, or think their next thoughts. This is an Author, you MUST READ! I can tell you 5 Stars is not Enough, for this rising Author.

3.0 out of 5 stars good story, good writing January 4, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I just had a little trouble, as a 50+ yr old, believing a 50 yr old woman who's been running a restaurant and not training for the Olympics could do the physical feats the main character does. My only complaint.

Great book!! Third time you have kept me in my book and away from my chores! This one, with the whole gang back in action, really had me on my toes asking what's next. It is a thought provoking book, just as the other two are, and I look forward to what is next. Each of these book would be a great movie. Just think of all the fireworks and things going boom. Well done!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Madeleine's back February 28, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This is the third in the series of books by Soren Petrek (that I know of). This one is set in Israel, with World War II heroine Madeleine back to set things straight again. Another satifying read, hope this author keeps them coming. Also would make a good movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars Petrek Does It Again April 3, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
OK,
So I thought maybe we'd get a Hollywood Film out of Cold Lonely Courage-an earlier offering of Mr. Petrek's.

Nope, not satisfactory...he wants to dominate the Box Office every time one of his books gets converted to an on-screen project.

Don't take my word for it. Just read the beginning. He did it to me again...

Excellent book-characters I may never get enough of.

He's my favorite writer.

Ok, I don't know anything about wars, guns, assassins. But it sure didn't seem like what these 5 people did, was do-able! Still, a rip roaring fun read. Read more
