3.0 out of 5 stars print extremely small
It is an interesting and well thought out book, but the print is very small and if you have trouble with small print, I don't recommend buying it.

From a rural location in Alaska, controlled by "Big Oil", the US government is blasting billions of watts of high frequency microwave energy at our protective ionospheric shell which surrounds the earth. Their offical reason is "to see what it does". Several acres of Alaskan land have been dedicated to the construction of the HAARP array (you can actually find a picture of it online...)but it's real purpose runs from the practical (earth tomography (X-ray the earth to look for enemy submarines and secret underground bases)) through the hard to believe (transmission of electrical power without wires (Tesla's idea) through the insane (the complete disruption of global communications and mucking with weather patterns by shifting the jet stream).

This book is so well documented, often citing documents published by the US government itself, that it is absolutely convincing and frightening.

4.0 out of 5 stars Intriguing & thought provoking presentation., January 16, 1998
This review is from: Angels Don't Play This Haarp: Advances in Tesla Technology (Paperback)
The authors build a framework to expose, possibly the most, perplexing usages of technology in the 20th century. The reader would rather discount the implications revealed as science fiction, but the authors provide documentation, patent numbers and references. Questions are raised about the impact, not only on the environment, but the inhabitants of this planet. Left me seeking more information on Tesla and validation of his genius, and wondering where one could locate shelter if this experiment goes askew.

I found this book very well written. The research and bibliography was excellent. All the information is very well documented. This is a must for those who really want to know what is happening on this planet. My one major comment: If you do not like documented and verified information, you problably will not be able to get thru this book. I would refer you to Dr. Begich's next book, 'EARTH RISING' It is a sequal and very readable for the non technical person.

I have read and researched a lot of the contents and yes, it is true. That which you cannot validate is secured by the Federal Gov. The patents are real and the people and companies involved are real. There is more info out there if you care to look.

4.0 out of 5 stars I found it frightening!, November 6, 2003

First of all, I want to state that the book was extremely well documented! I have read books that gloss over "facts" that sound so fantastic, but offer no support. The book details projects involving bouncing microwaves off the ionosphere in order to control weather patterns, to make a shield to protect the country from missiles, even for mind control...this went from fantastic to terrifying!

If you are a sci-fi fan, this is a worthwhile read. But, with all the documentation, it evolves into a potential doomsday manual.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating, February 1, 2004

I found this book on HAARP to be fascinating and quite believable.

Most people I know have never heard of HAARP and if they have they are convinced it is some kind of weather station! They need to study the patents of Bernard Eastlund and the works of Nicola Tesla to realize the potential for such a piece of a equipment!

I have only one major criticism. Where's the index? In this day and age of computers I think it is inexcusable to publish a complex work and forget the index!

Dr. Rick

Man's desire to be god will eventually lead him to the unltimate self-destruction and the demolition of the planet he inhabits. "Angels don't play this HAARP" is a book that must be read by every citizen who cares about the condition of this planet. It will help the reader learn about man's manipulation of mother earth, and the possibility of rendering this gift into ruin....

The book documents the arrogance, ignorance and hubris of government officials and bureaucrats who may destroy our earth. This story will not be seen in the mainstream media.

Believe it or not, this book is a jaw dropper! Every U.S. citizen should read this because most people are not aware of this research. Even the scientists working on this project don't seem to have a clue as to the possible damage they are doing to our atmosphere. The book also has a great bio on Nickola Tesla, A man decades ahead of his time. If you are into conspiracy theories or who's running the world you will probably enjoy this book

4.0 out of 5 stars It's not science fiction!, May 7, 2008
This review is from: Angels Don't Play This Haarp: Advances in Tesla Technology (Paperback)
Using electromagnetic energies to control the weather, tamper with the capacity of the mind to think clearly, etc., is not science fiction. The great scientists, Albert Roy Davis and Walter C. Rawls, Jr., themselves world renowned experts in electromagnetics, wrote in their fourth book, "The Magnetic Blueprint of Life" (1979), that electromagnetic energies could be used to do exactly that. They stated in the book that the communications disruptions throughout the world in 1977 (1977 blackout?) were, they believe, due to experiments the Russians were doing, blasting enormous amounts of electromagnetic energy into the atmosphere, just like HAARP does. They also wrote that they believe that the upper strata atmospheric winds that control the weather have been changed (global warming?).

In addition, Davis and Rawls stated that powerlines in the U.S. are above ground, unlike in Great Britain and other countries where they prefer to put them underground, and they will eventually cause a change in the protective ozone layer that surrounds the earth.

Albert Roy Davis was the first scientist to discover that North and South pole magnetic fields are separate energies with different effects. For example, North pole magnetism was found to increase the intelligence and memory of animals that were exposed to it. The South pole reduced their intelligence and memory. Now, do you believe it's just a coincidence that the vast majority of telephones and headphones are configured so they radiate South pole magnetic fields into the brain of the user?? Neither do I.

We're still laughably told in the media and on TV programs that nuclear weapons are the most powerful weapons in the world. So in fifty years we haven't developed weapons that are more powerful? Consider how far computers, aircraft, communication systems, etc., have come in fifty years. All of that money spent on the military, and a fifty year old technology is still the best we have. Somehow I ain't buying it.

The ultimate weapons of the 21st century are various forms of electromagnetic weapons. HAARP is one of them, and likely one of the most lethal.
