Angels: Knowing Their Purpose, Releasing Their Power

This is one of the most straight-forward and profound messages, not only regarding exactly what angles do in our lives, but (and most importantly)what the power of our words holds. In many of Capps' book reviews, those denouncing his message need to go back to their Bible concordances and read EVERY SINGLE SCRIPTURE on the "tongue", the "mouth","words" and any other related terms. Even Jesus said that we are sactified or condemned by our words (and he wasn't just talking about going to Heaven or hell) We Christians often do not take hold of the power that our words release or the fact that God has given us free will to choose what we say and follow. Going WAY past a "name-it-and-claim-it" book, this book, along with Capps' others, really explain the root of the power and authority of what we say. What we speak and declare is what releases our faith (which isn't very powerful if kept shut up)and fuels it to take hold and manifest in our lives.

Read this book! It's simple, easy to understand, humerous, warm, and revealing. This book is right on!

This is a great companion book for Mr. Capps other outstanding work, "The Tongue, A Creative Force." Both books give you great insight into the words you speak.

Are you wondering about Angels, what their job is and just how they go about doing it?
If you are, this is the book for you.
The author gives you Scriptures showing Angels work in history and explains how they can help you in your daily life.

God wants you to understand that you do have supernatural help, and this book explains to you how to release their power on your behalf. Again, your words are important and play a large role in just how much your Angels can intervine in your life.

If you believe in God's Word, if you believe in Angels and want to know more about their job on planet earth and how they can help you, this book is a must read.
I truly enjoyed it and felt the author did a wonderful job.

This is a good book if you want to get started reading and understanding the realm of angels. if you have any previous knowledge, I wouldn't recommend this book. it is, however, a classic on the study of angels and for this reason, you may want to add it to your collection.

I bought this book as a gift. It is a quick simple book to read. If you think about it, the book is charged with more than 4000 years of documented history. My second reading of Angles I flagged many pages so that in my third perusal it is going side by side with my Bible in hand. It may give one an opportunity for introspection and revelation if you are open to it; or just modern language illustration of the gift of Angles among us at this very moment. In any case you will enjoy Angles.

This is really a great book that gives insight on the purpose of angels in our lives. I learned a lot and now rely on them being activated by God's Word, to go and minister on my behalf, setting me up to receive God's blessings. I find it interesting that when people comment negatively in regards to Brother Capps' teachings, that they have no scripture to back up what they say, yet Brother Capps has scripture to back up everything he teaches.

In my opinion, if what someone teaches lines up with the Word of God, then I believe it. If it doesn't, then I don't. And this (as well as Brother Capps' other books) does.

I am a huge new fan of Charles Capps, so my review might be a little biased. Mr. Capps Christian thinking seems a little more open minded and I believe he was before his time. There are really great preachers such as Joyce Meyer and Joel Osteen who have been preaching the positive thinking sermons for some time, but it was cool to know that Mr. Capps was doing this 50 years ago. "Angels" digs deep into the Word and discusses the true purpose of Angels and has opened me to a new way of thinking, especially watching the words that come out of my mouth. I now think of my words as commands to Angels and if I speak & sow negativity, so I shall reap it. Your Angels are always listening and it is your God given right to be successful. So watch your words anfd buy this book to understand what I am saying that!

There are times, I admit, that this pastor causes me to lift an eyebrow
now and then; even so, I did learn quite a bit from this book. It has made me realize my dire need to learn God's promises in order to come against attacks from the enemy.

We must all remember that all spiritual attacks begin on the mind. Let's keep Jesus in our hearts, and God's word on our lips in order to guard that spiritual doorway. There is no other way to win the spiritual battle raging around us.

This is an in-depth book about angels, including how the "fallen" angels affected the early at the beginning, as well as how they are effecting the earth now. The positive part of the book is understanding the purpose of angels and how they can assist us on this planet. Very interesting and a excellent study book for a deeper study of the Bible.
