Review
Through the ages angels have often been the subject of art and literature. With great elegance and loving respect Lynn Fischer adds new dimensions to our understanding of angels. Lynn shows us that each of the seven rays carries an atrribute within its color that is the essence of an archangel. That archangel may be called on for that attribute. We may more clearly understand our own attraction to a color by seeing that it's essence illuminates our life purpose. By calling on the archangel who's essence most closely aligns with our life purpose, we will have divine help to live this essence. Blue has been my favorite color for a very long time. According to Lynn, Saphhire Blue is the color of the first solar ray representing "the power and will of God as well as the power of faith and protection...Calling upon this ray will help a leader to be honorable rather than self-serving." Archangel Michael is the keeper of the Sapphire Blue Ray. He "shows us how to increase our ability to deal with problems. He helps us cut through all distractions and negotiate a path to serenity." He works in concert with Archeia Faith "as power works with faith." I had not thought of calling on Archangel Michael for assistance in my journey. Now I will. Each archangel is pictured with his female counterpart archeia in a beautiful four-color painting. Through the color and energy of each picture we understand more clearly the gifts that the archangels and archeia bring to us. By picturing them together we feel the balance of the male and female energies, the balance of the divine possibiities with the earthly manifestation. Lynn invites us to "slow down. Seek the quietness inside...Train your eyes to see only the perfection and beauty in yourself and in all other beings who cross your path...Be open to mystery...Ask for help." The angels are ready and waiting to be of assistance. This graceful book, beautifully illustrated on coated glossy stock with two-color metallic gold borders, is a must in the angel section of your store. It's warmth and beauty will attract the ones who are seeking the power and love of the angels. --

About the Author
Lynn Fischer, former book designer and art director for such prominent publishing companies as Houghton Mifflin, Random House and Macmillan, is now a successful entrepreneur. She has several notable awards to her credit: design awards from four New England Book Shows and two from AIGA "50 Best Books of the Year."
Lynn grew up in Wynnewood, PA, and developed an interest in religious matters and natural healthcare from her education at Friends' Central School, a private Quaker school outside of Philadelphia. It was there that she became acquainted with many religious and holistic traditions and adopted the awareness and importance of seeking peaceful solutions to conflict. Her interest in natural healing and healthcare led her to create an alternative health newspaper in 1993 called "The Zephyr." The paper received wide recognition for four years and was distributed throughout Southeastern New England.
Regarding her book, "Angels of Love and Light," Lynn says, "This book is the first of its kind in terms of being a definitive work on specific archangels who bring the virtues of God to all mankind." The book is illustrated by talented young artist, Marius Michael-George, whose primary work centers on magnificent angels and breathtaking landscape paintings. The beautiful paintings that are part of this book may also be purchased separately through Marius Fine Art Studio.
