A Labor Of Love,
By Thom King (Nashville, TN) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Angels of Our Heart (Paperback)
This book will make you cry, laugh, and most important of all, think.Angels Of Our Heart is not a casual book. It profiles the lives of dozens of wonderful children, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters were murdered. Thier lives, not their tragic deaths, are remembered by their parents, friends, siblings, and grandparents. The author takes you into the worlds of these precious people, and makes you think about what might have been. These names are no longer faceless statistics. When you see their smiling faces, you realize that you know these people. They lived next door to you, down the street, over near the grocery store. They had hopes, dreams, plans for living. Angels Of Our Heart is the kind of book you read once, and remember the rest of your life. I highly recommend it to anyone with parents, siblings, children or friends.

Absolutely Amazing,
By Jamie Young (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Angels of Our Heart (Paperback)
I only wish that there were more people like LeAnn who are so compassionate and dedicated to giving their life for others that they would stand up and shout that what has been done to survivors is wrong. They needed a voice and should be honored by this voice. Angels of Our Heart is a phenomenal representation of love, life and honor. Thank you LeAnn for doing this and for taking the time to write an article for our site for victims. Hope to meet you soon and thanks for the signed copy!

Thank you Leann Poile for giving a voice to the victims and survivors of violent crime. What a wonderful gift to the families of the victims; a permanent memorial to their loved ones. You have given the victims a face, a life remembered. The angels are singing.

As a mother of one of the murder victims memorialized in this book, I cannot thank Leann enough for the honor to do so. This book celebrates the lives of the victims. It gave me the chance to give to my son in a way I would not have been able to otherwise. Because of Leann he will live within these pages forever. So thank you Leann from the bottom of my heart. You did a terrific job for all of us.

Angels of Our Heart,
By jenny estlund (Ft. Dodge, IA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Angels of Our Heart (Paperback)
This book dwells into the thoughts, anguish, and pain of families who've lost a family member to crime. It made me cry to hear their stories, and want to SCREAM at the injustices. The book made me hug my child just one more before going to sleep. A very thought provoking look into the grief, or should I say, "survival" process .

Your Book Touched My Heart,
By Chloe (Orlando, FL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Angels of Our Heart (Paperback)
I just want to say thank you for what you have done for murder victims. It means so much to let them have their say. Your book is proof that there are still people out there who care and that are used by God to help others. I ordered 10 books for my family and one for myself. We haven't had anyone in our family murdered either, but we know that it is important to be on the side of those who have. After reading your book, one thing stuck out in my mind...the grief issues you talk about are useful for anyone, not just for survivors of homicide. I lost my Dad two months ago, and it really helped me sort out my feelings of his loss. Thank you again LeAnn and may God Bless
