About the Author
Mike Ripley is the author of a dozen previous novels in the 'Angel' series, which have twice won the Crime Writers' Last Laugh Award for comedy. He currently lives in East Anglia as a trained Archaeologist. His previous books include: Angel on the Inside, Angel Underground and Bootlegged Angel.

I am a long time fan of Mike Ripley's Angel series and this one is a very enjoyable addition. The first 4 or so are great, then there is a run of 3 or 4 not so hot, but the last 3 have been back in stride. I must say I prefer the setting in his original apartment, with his eccentric neighbors and psychotic, but charming, cat - to his new wife and work partners, but he does seem to be pulling them together in a more fun cohesion with each book. This is the latest, and I would recommend it. I would also go back and find "Just Another Angel" the first in the series, for a fun and slightly manic read.
