About the Author

Annell is a Conifer High School student, and started writing in seventh grade. In second grade, her best friend, Jason Rye, died of cancer. It was his ideas and creativity that inspired this novel. Annell lives in Morrison, Colorado and spends most of her time writing, playing her trumpet, marching in the Lobo Regiment, and daydreaming.
