Sada Sat Kaur's "Angels' Waltz" is a beautiful collection of traditional mantras that will touch your soul. Some tracks are peaceful and soothing (Angels' Waltz, Guru Guru Wahe Guru, Bhaja Man Mere), others more energizing (Adi Shakti, Bolo Ram, Ra Ma Da Sa), and all are truly inspirational. I have listened to this CD as accompaniment during my meditation and yoga, on the drive home from work to help me relax and unwind when stuck in traffic, or anytime during the day that I need a soothing yet uplifting musical experience. Sada Sat Kaur's angelic voice is backed by an ecclectic mix of instruments including harmonium, dobro, Indian banjo, tabla, piano, djembe, bass and drums to name just a few, creating a rich listening experience. Perhaps the only experience more heavenly than Sada Sat Kaur's "Angels' Waltz" CD is hearing her and her Band of Yogis perform live, which I have had the good fortune of experiencing during yoga classes and retreats, and through their Chant for Peace webcast performance last month. One can truly hear Sada Sat Kaur's years of devotion to her music, yoga, and spirituality come through as she chants these lovely mantras, which are captured most wonderfully on the CD "Angel's Waltz"--highly recommended!

Sada Sat Kaur's voice is unique and the rhythms are soothing. The sound current seems to reach deep inside of you as you listen and you are elevated to a better place. Highly recommended for yoga practice or anytime you need your spirits lifted.

Sada Sat Kaur's ANGEL'S WALTZ is beautiful and hypnotic. It has the ability to focus the mind while easing the spirit which makes it perfect for listening to while practicing yoga, creating artwork, or just unwinding. It is a wonderful collection and her voice is so sweet and soothing that I often listen to it when I retire at night.

Angels' Waltz by Sadasat Kaur is one the finest chant records to be produced in the last twenty years. It stands out for many reasons. The most obvious one is the awesomely rich, earthy, bell-clear,down-home-real,deeply affecting vocal power of SadaSat's voice. Her 3 decades of dedicated spiritual practice as a Kundalini yoga teacher,and kirtan singer pour through these chants like a cornucopia of mystic, but definitely accessible, spiritual treasure. Many chant records border on milk-shaky sweetness, or drown in reverb, trying too hard be ethereal or Eastern,only to sound flyaway and ungrounded, or have musical arrangements too complex to chant with. Sadasat's offerings are simple,unpretentious traditional melodies that are easy for anyone to sing with. Couple that with the unique stylings of Jeremy Toback's subtle country-flavor arrangements and you are listening to a record which has true crossover appeal. The banjo, pedal steel, and other traditional country instruments here are not cornball, not schmaltzy, but help embody that quiet space that is contained in the best of country ballads. That is a part of what makes these pieces work so well in a meditative paradiym.The other strength of these arrangements is that the rhythm is always evident,and well-defined, and keeps it moving, but doesn't obscure or overwhelm the organic flow of life-energy
which builds and delivers as you listen to/meditate with each selection.Watch this singer and producer. They have delivered a winner.

Amazing compilation of mantras, chants and songs--takes you to the Angels

Sada Sat Kaur has been with the angels. Her chanting and music capture the essence and power of the Gurbani, as the sweet harmonies of her chords fuse perfectly with the sacred mantras. I play this CD in my Kundalini Yoga classes to elevate the vibration of the group energy and to inspire my students to a higher level of consciousness and awareness. Sat Naam.

I bought this CD after attending a kirtan session with Sada Sat Kaur. The CD perfectly recreates the uplifting experience of a live performance, enhanced by superb quality recording. I find that I play Angel's Waltz almost everyday. Even if I am not listening intently I enjoy the vibration that I know is being sent out. Angel's Waltz is a divine work of love.

This is by far my favorite CD of Kundalini Yoga based mantras. Sada Sat has the voice of an angel, and the positive energy emanating from this CD is absolutely transformative.

This is a wonderful addition to any music collection, yoga practioner or not. The chants are inspirational in a musical voice. A "must have" selection!

Out of the many, many CD's of which I listen to while practicing yoga, this one is by far my favorite. In fact, I have 2 copies, one for my CD alarm clock too. It's a 5+.
