Archie, he has a voice as smooth as silk and sings like an angel..i could relax with his vocals any day!

I strongly disagree with MonicaM. David's version of Angels is out of this world. His voice is soaring and you could just feel the connection between him and the song that instantly helps you to connect with the song yourself. I would never have known and liked this song if I didn't see David performed this song on American Idol. I followed Monica's advice here to listen to the Robbie William's version, but not to offend Robbie or anybody, but I truly and honestly love David's version better. To each his own I guess. But since Angels was sung by Robbie originally, I would give him kudos for that. Originals are most of the time hard to beat, but in my opinion, David did an amazing job with his own rendition especially when you consider that he was only 17 years old when he recorded this song.

This cover seems like a weak way to launch a new album as a new artist. Also, wasn't this territory covered during AI? If you like the song you should listen to the Robbie Williams' original - it is far superior to this overproduced, saccharine version.
