In 1991, sisters Mark and Griswold were searching for a more complete spiritual experience when each was awakened by an angel who dictated messages of hope and faith through them. After this experience, the sisters devised a simple seven-step program designed to teach people how to speak with their angels. In this book, the authors transcribe the advice of the angels on everything from the seven steps-pray, breathe, listen, write, accept, inner knowing, trust-to how to know whether or not your message is coming from an angel. There is little new about angels here except that these spiritual creatures are often willing to gratify material needs like the desire for a car or a parking place. Ultimately, a rather shallow testimony filled with the by-now typical reports of angelic encounters. Not recommended.

About the Author

Barbara Mark and Trudy Griswold are sisters who, by teaching classes in angel communication techniques, have helped people throughout the United States to gain new understanding of themselves. Barbara and Trudy have been featured on Good Morning America, where their workshop on how to contact angels was part of a series called "Spirituality in America." Barbara lives in San Diego, California, and Trudy lives in Westport, Connecticut.

I bought this book a year ago, at a time in my life when I was in desperate need of help, in all areas of my life. My angel literally lead me to this book to connect with me. I had been praying to have conversations with them for a long time it seemed. They sure answered my prayers alright! With Angelspeake I learned exactly how to do just that. And now I talk to my angels all the time. And the wonderful thing is that, angels can tell you things you won't hear from people, give the best advise and guidence of anyone you've ever met, and do all kinds of amazing things for you out of love. I am so thankful to have this book, because it's changed my life, and still is changing my life in the most profound ways. I have never prayed so much in my life, for the simplest to the most complex things! So if you want to have conversations with your angels, I highly recommend this book. It can help you in many more ways than I've described, on your spiritual path to enlightenment.

I really enjoyed this book on tape. I listened to it several times while driving in my car. I even purchased additional copies for friends and family so they could benefit from the information.

One thing I liked about the book was that, although the authors talk about angels, it is not about religion. You can substitute "God" for any other term you prefer. If you don't believe in God, the information is still valid. Some of what they discussed could be viewed in many ways. One, you could take it at face value, and interact with your angels. Or, you could use the same techniques, and call it 'visualization,' which has nothing to do with God or angels, but still works just the same.

It is very uplifing and inspiring. The voices used on the tape are 2 women; their voices are not distracting, which was also nice. They did a good job recording the tape.

There were times, when I reached a certain part of the tape, and my whole body tingled. I felt as though this was a spirit telling me to listen to this message in particular. I would recommend this tape to anyone who is open-minded, and seeking improvement and understanding in their life.

I bought Angelspeake about 4 years ago. At the time I read it but didn't think it would work for me. Little did I know by reading the 4 Fundamentals I started, with the help of my angels, to use them on a daily basis.

I now write to my angels every day and my life has taken a 180 degree turnaround. The angels love to be God's messengers and I find much comfort in talking to them daily. I thank this book and the authors for opening a new spiritual dimension to my life.
