Absolutely beautiful illustrations! The history/background information/vocabulary is somewhat challenging for younger students but the information is rich and interesting, and kids LOVE this book. It is wonderful if you are doing a lesson on handling anger (I would say grades 2-3 it would be best for, but my K-1 kids seem to enjoy it just as well!). I use the large Folkmanis tiger puppet (my "Mallika") when doing this lesson, and after a nice discussion, end with the "If You're Angry and You Know It" song!
