If your heart is heavy and ready for change in ridding yourself of the destruction anger brings, you have found a good resource in exploring this book. Best selling author and Psychotherapist Krystal Kuehn, in her desire to see others experience freedom in their emotions, has carefully laid out the contents of this book to help you identify mindsets, attitudes, and actions that are destructive to one's physical and emotional well being. It is in the first step of identifying the source of anger- primary pain that she refers to- that the healing process can begin.

You will gain an awareness of how anger affects our bodies and thinking while being given perspective in helping you reconsider negative thoughts or word curses directed toward others. Examples of healthy coping thoughts are provided along with strategies for dealing with your anger.

Because she knows and states that the choices we make in anger not only affect us but can affect future generations, it is imperative it be dealt with as soon as possible. Allow this book to begin your journey upward toward wholeness. It will involve more than understanding the principles, but applying them on a daily basis so a new outlook can emerge over time. If necessary, she does not hesitate in recommending you seek professional help.

It is not always the big bang things we do that make the biggest differences but the little successive steady steps in the right direction over time that ultimately reveal the greatest gains. May these principles yield the peaceable fruit of righteousness in your life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Are You Angry? February 19, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
If you are human, you have experienced anger. A day doesn't go by that I don't get angry or upset by something. For years I struggled with being angry - what I called righteous indignation. Until I met a counselor who validated my feelings and taught me better coping mechanisms.

Above all, I learned to forgive. I can speak from personal experience that Anger Management: What You Need to Know Will change your life if you take to heart Krystal`s advice and words of wisdom. I especially enjoyed the many one liners she cited from people who have also struggled with debilitating anger.

There is freedom from anger that destroys you and others. Get this book and help yourself. You won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Anger Management Guide February 13, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I have just finished reading this book and I found it to be very helpful and informative. I especially liked the chapter that shows you how to identify your anger triggers so you can deal with the root issues you may or may not be aware of.

I also liked the chapter of how to deal with anger so that you control your anger and not let anger control you.

The information within these pages has helped me already by changing my perspective on anger management and so I recommend this book!

I found this information to be accurate and effective. I want to understand
what's behind people's rages and what to do in the face of someone that
is totally out of control with anger.
Though I still have questions this book help me understand anger at a
different level than what I've ever experienced.

5.0 out of 5 stars Insightful March 20, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Anger management is not a new topic for me. Whenever I find a book or article on it, it does peek my interest. This book was a fast and easy read. What I found really insightful was the revelation that there is always another emotion that precedes anger! Never thought of it that way.

5.0 out of 5 stars We all have anger issues February 14, 2013
By Brandon
Format:Kindle Edition
I loved this book. I've always considered myself the master of my emotions. However, reading Anger Management made me reassess how I deal with my anger, and it's not always good. Those choice words I use every now and then when someone cuts me off on the road, or my response of cutting them off in return. Writing a response letter to opposing counsel without letting it sit awhile to let my anger dissipate. To name a couple examples. Indeed, as I read deeper into Krystal's book and studied her methodology, I couldn't help wondering how many of the recent shootings might have been avoided had those violent and very angry men read her book. This book can help anyone dealing with anger issues to get a hold of their tempers and grow as a result.
