More than just a cd, a great piece of art,

"The Angie House",the much anticipated 3rd album from Benjy Davis Project, is definately worth the wait. Everytime I listen to it I get something different out of a song. As with most albums from artists there are only a few songs that you listen to often and claim as your favorite. This is not the case with "The Angie House". I can honestl say that all songs are equally as good, and will be played numerous times in my car, home, ipod, anywhere. If you want a good hard sound, BDP satisfies you with Crimson Glow, Everybody, Wait, and Purgatoria. If a nice mellow slow song pleases you, then listen to 214, Soul On Fire, or Blame It On the Devil. These will treat you right. There is something on this album for "Everybody". You can definately tell the band poured a lot of hard work, talent, and time into this. There is a reason why it only came out yesterday (sept. 27th) and Amazon only has 2 left in stock. So to everyone, your money will definately not be wasted when you purchase this album. Not only is it a great cd, but an great piece of art... just look at the album cover. From front to back you will not be disappointed with this album. In fact I am willing to bet,you will be telling all your friends to get one as well.

The Benjy Davis Project is perhaps one of the best bands I have ever heard.. This CD (as well as More Than Local) are in the top 10 best albums I have ever bought. I can't say enough good things about this band.. I hope when they make it big they stay loyal to their roots because they are the best.

Louisiana Represented Truly,

I have to give the greatest credit I can to BDP for their reflection of life in Louisiana. No music, movie or other media has been able to do it so successfully. A fabulous blend of rock, zydeco, country and many other genres of music--a blend that is a very tasty "jambalaya". This album is worth the buy and worth your time. My hats off to this group and to their music. May there be many more from them. Thank you, BDP.

I just have to say that this band is really damn good. I saw them live in January at a small bar in Colorado and they rocked, so I bought their newest CD their from their keyboardist, who was a very nice guy, and after I took it home and listened to it my girlfriend and I were convinced it was one of the top 10 albums we'd ever heard. Somehow they managed to make the entire album not only repeatably listenable but damn good. A friend of mine who's in a heavy metal band and into 'rock' said he was in love with it. I listen to Death Cab for Cutie, Bjork, Muse, Ani, Blink 182, Radiohead, NIN, Dave, etc, and The Benji Davis Project is up there with them. The only thing that explains why I hadn't heard of this band before going to that bar is that the music industry in this country mass markets and makes it so radio stations play the manufactured and heaviest marketed bands for the sake of money and not for the sake of getting the good music and the good bands to people's ears. I would bet that almost everyone you know has never heard this band before and that when they do they will thank you for introducing them to 'em. :-)

This is a truely amazing CD. "Do It With The Lights On," "Soul On Fire," and "214" are just some of my favorites. I started listening to BJP from a good friend. Her Dad has a lot of tour buses and BJD uses them and they know the band good. I wish BJD the best of luck with all of their records, past and future. This is an amazing Cd and I would deffinently recomend it to everyone.
