Good dictionary, June 5, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Anglicko-Cesky Cesko-Anglicky Dictionary (Hardcover)
What I like best about this dictionary is the fact that it has the imperfective and perfective verb forms (smaller dictionaries only show the imperfective verbs).
What I don't like is:
- it doesn't indicate the gender of nouns
- it lacks some common words in the Czech-English section.
Overall, I am pleased with this dictionary.

Excellent !, January 19, 2002
This review is from: Anglicko-Cesky Cesko-Anglicky Dictionary (Hardcover)
This dictionary is quite complete and will help a great deal when reading and writing Czech. Be warned though, the introductory pages and list of abbreviations is given in Czech only. That said, it's an excellent resource.
Oh, the word for "dinner", obìd, is listed. It's the last word on page 790.
