The survival of the Angry Birds is at stake! Greedy green swine have been raiding the flock's nest looking for a free breakfast. Now the birds need your help dishing out revenge on those egg-thieving hogs. Lay waste to the pigs' fortified castles with a carefully aimed slingshot and the Angry Birds' destructive avian arsenal. Angry Birds HD, now optimized for your Kindle Fire, features hours of gameplay, challenging physics-based castle demolition, and lots of replay value. Each of the 300 levels requires logic, skill, and brute force to crush the enemy.
Catapult the birds toward the pigs' hiding places and break through their shelters. Use each bird's unique skills to break through crates, boards, stone, ice, snow, glass, boulders, and dynamite to vanquish the devious pigs.
Angry Birds is the world's most popular physics-based casual game for many reasons: quirky characters with unique abilities, hundreds levels of challenging pig fortifications to defeat, and lots of hidden rewards for you and your feathered friends to discover.
Just in time for summer, the new beach theme is so sunny you'll get a secondhand tan! It's a beautiful day at the beach--until the pigs show up. Can the Angry Birds rescue their eggs in time to have some fun in the sun? Puzzle your way through fifteen tropical levels.

As you progress through the game, you'll learn each bird's strengths, the characteristics of the materials protecting the pigs, and how to trigger chain reactions that destroy the pigs and generate high scores. Snuff out the pigs with the fewest number of birds and the most damage possible to achieve three gold stars for each level.
Alter the game's look and feel by zooming in and out of each scene to get a better sense of where to launch your next bird. If you find the background is too distracting, you may turn it off to focus solely on the pigs and their soon-to-be crumbled fortifications.
Angry Birds features six episodes of physics-based puzzle solving. Discover the Poached Eggs, Mighty Hoax, Danger Above, The Big Setup, Ham 'Em High, Mine and Dine, and a fun reward level called Golden Eggs.
"It's a very simple formula, but thanks to precise controls, great puzzle designs, and excellent atmosphere, Angry Birds is outrageously addictive. (Really, I am sleepy today because I played this until three in the morning.)" -IGN.com
"Angry Birds might not have a lot of extra features besides its single player mode, but to be honest, that mode alone makes the game a fantastic value." -TouchArcade
"The reaction of the objects as they topple and splinter, knocking other sections over and (if you're lucky) squishing the pigs within is a constant delight, and ensures that you'll play the same levels multiple times in a bid to get a full three-star rating. To all those who've been waiting - here comes a very good thing." -PocketGamer

The Angry Birds possess courage, dedication, and an enormous slingshot. What they need is a way to launch themselves toward those thieving pigs, and that's where you come in. Slide your finger across your touchscreen to pull the slingshot back and adjust the trajectory of each bird for maximum effect. Then, lift your finger from the screen to fling your avian friends toward their greedy green foes. Once the bird is in mid-flight, simply tap your screen at just the right moment to unleash its special ability.

The opening bass note and slower pace of the normally up-tempo Angry Birds theme music sets a fun, and mildly ominous, tone in the first stage of the Poached Eggs master level. It's an introduction to an award-winning sound design that adds a surprising sense of depth and movement to the game.
An audible tapestry of bird songs, taunting pig grunts, and anxious calls to action from our slingshot-loaded friends enlivens the game's shifting, multi-layered scenes.

Angry Birds rewards you with gilded goodies for different accomplishments:
• Golden Eggs: Poke your beak into hard-to-reach areas in both the levels and menus to find over 20 of these prizes (and counting!).

• Bonus Levels: Each golden egg represents an exciting bonus feature, usually an extra level. Enjoy explosive Rube Goldberg machines and new challenges aplenty.
• Angry Puzzles: Some golden eggs reveal a bonus screen housing a soundboard, a radio, an accordion, or some other item. In addition to being a cute diversion, each of these is a puzzle that nets you a star when solved.

Mention Angry Birds and, chances are, people will know what you're talking about. The colorful birds and their furious purpose have catapulted themselves into an outright phenomenon.
The road to Angry Birds began in 2003, when three Finnish students entered a mobile-game development competition. Their game, King of the Cabbage World, was the first real-time, multiplayer game for mobile phones. The trio soon formed what would become Rovio.
Angry Birds was released in December 2009, after the iPhone and just as the Android universe started to explode--a climate ripe for innovation. The game achieved unprecedented success: to date, the game and its sequels have generated more than 50 million downloads.
Flash forward a year and Angry Birds is a household name, having made the leap from popular game to popular culture. YouTube videos providing tips and tricks, life-sized Angry Birds-themed sketches on Conan O'Brien, cuddly plush toys--they all come with the territory.
Regardless of what Angry Birds holds as a cultural touchstone, it's a safe bet that more games, more levels, and more birds are on the horizon.
If you can't get enough of these fearless heroes, try out Rovio's other Angry Birds apps. You'll discover new missions, villains, awards, unlockables, and of course--more reasons to love these Angry Birds.
See the climates whiz past as you soar through the air towards those greedy swine: destroy their new seasonally-themed bases with your feathery firepower, good aim, and plenty of holiday cheer.
Angry Birds Rio pairs the physics-based gameplay of the original Angry Birds with themes and twists based on the 20th Century Fox animated film, Rio. Blu and Jewel--two rare macaws and the stars of Rio--make their gaming debut by acting as the center of the Angry Birds' rescue mission.
Look forward to regular episodic updates to this exciting game series.
