Why Animals Do What They Do,
By steve rafe (Virginia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Animal Behavior Desk Reference: A Dictionary of Animal Behavior, Ecology, and Evolution, Second Edition (Hardcover)
If you are responsible for an animal you need this book. Whether you are a owner, trainer, petsitter, groomer, boarder, behaviorist, veterinarian or other caregiver, you must have this book on your shelves and within reach. The author, Edward M. Barrows, has done an outstanding job in walking the fine line between writing for the general reader and the professional in this field. As a reference, it is a "must read" for all.
