Jaga Jazzist - Animal Chin,

Though ANIMAL CHIN, a US only EP, features 4 tracks already available on Jaga Jazzist's other albums, it also brings a new track and two remixes to US shores. The more Jaga Jazzist, the better, I say. "Tristar" sounds like it could have come off either album. The Martin Hortveth remix of "Lithuania" is much more broken-up and glitchy at first -- certainly a new direction. The Kim Hiorthoy remix of "Going Down" is a long ambient journey that drifts until a rhythm starts filtering in halfway through. A nice addition to the Jaga Jazzist oeuvre.
