About the Author
Carol A. Becker was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania in 1943. She graduated from UCLA in 1966. Carol is married to Barry Becker, now her business manager. They have two children, two grandchildren and five dogs. Carol taught school for 32 years during which time she took graduate courses in parapsychology from Dr. Thelma Moss at UCLA, animal communication from Carol Gurney and was certified as Reiki Master by Laurie Grant. In 1994, Carol began Becker Animal Communications and was honored with presentation of her Hawaiian name: Alohalani (meaning Spiritual Compassion) by a wonderful and well loved Hawaiian elder, Kupunawahine Lawelawe.
Carol's work experiences include numerous client/animal cases from work with exotic species to domestic in-house animals. She also provides consultation services to veterinarians and animal guardians as well as conducting workshops and presentations in animal communication. These experiences led to the creation of the ANIMAL COMMUNICATION WORKBOOK as a tool to help people understand their animals.
Carol created an animal communication advice column "Ask Granny Bow Wow," and other writings which have appeared in various newspapers and magazines.
Her future plans include the publishing of a workbook helping people deal with grief at the loss of their animals and creation of a web site which will carry the "Ask Granny Bow Wow" column.
