This book is the answer to learning how to really communicate with your pets. For anyone who reads it, it is easily understood and easy to follow. I found that I was already doing alot of what she said. I have to work at hearing their replys. But if you treat your pets with respect, and not kick them around, they will respect you back and usually do what you request. Judy is inituitive, not scientific. I doubt a scientist would understand what she does, unless they read this book and are willing to try and use their intuition. I am looking forward to any new books she might feel like writing.

After I read this book over the weekend (it's that easy and simple to read), I spoke to my two dogs in the way Ms. Meyer suggested. They have not chased a car since, and they've been chasing cars for eight years. This is a must read book for any animal lover who would like to deepen their realtionship with their pet as well as get some basic behavior changes.

At first, I found the idea of this book to be a little off the wall. The idea of talking to my Rottweiler seemed ridiculous, but,Hey, why not try it? It would only cost me a few minutes of my time. I spoke to him as the book suggested and I was very surprised by the results. I wanted him to stay in my yard, but before I spoke to him in the way the book suggested, he would always leave. After I spoke to him in the way shown in the book, he stayed in my yard. I'm VERY PLEASED with the results. I think this book is great!

The Animal Connection is a wonderful book. It gives many examples of how to deepen our relationship and understanding of our animal companions and how to fully enjoy who they really are.

Judy Meyer has captured in easy and inviting prose the beautiful art of communicating with animals. It's a must read for anyone who loves, cares about, or is around animals on a regular basis.

After reading "The Animal Connection" I have been able to make some huge changes in my dog's behavior. Prior to speaking with him, as the author teaches, he had so many problems with excessive aggressiveness that I did not know if he would be able to continue to live with us. I began to speak with him...out loud..in English..and tell him what was needed, what was expected and how I wanted him to behave. I have been shocked at times with his immediate response to my requests. It may seem strange, but this book teaches a simple way to communicate that really works. It is very easy to do and will be a godsend for many pet owners.

I've read two other animal communication books besides this one, and I must say that out of the three, this one was the best. It had the easiest approach to speaking intuitively with animals, and it worked for me where the other two books hadn't. Immediately after reading this book, I felt my communication skills with my dogs improve twice as much as it previously had been. My one dog, who had never before retrieved and returned a tennis ball for me and with no formal training, did it the first time after I explained to him how it was done. I was so impressed!

While this book was an easy read and very straight forward, I expected there to be more content. But this does not bring down the value of the book in any way because the method it describes works very well! I strongly recommend this book to any person that would like to speak with their beloved pet.

This book is amazing! My baby guinea pig was very sick and one day I quieted my mind and asked him where it hurt He told me his chest He is now better.I owe this woman his life!She goes through step by step how to talk with your pets and to make you bond stronger.

I enjoyed reading this book but found the information to be over simplified, more suited to a pamphlet than a book. I would like to see a more indepth discussion of the techniques.

This is actually a pre-review since I just ordered The Animal Connection this morning. I venture forth with a review because I happened to meet the author, Judy Meyer, this morning and was lucky enough to have her preview her book for me along with a few tips. These were jewels! I'm not going to ruin her sales by passing them along to you but I can say that my black Lab, Maggie, who was a natural retriever until someone taught her "Keep Away" and who for years has been reluctant to return fetched sticks now magically does so. I say to her "Maggie, I would like it better if you gave the stick to me" And she did, and she does! Buy the book. I did.
