My 2 year old began listening to ANIMAL DANCE AND OTHER SILLY SONGS when he was about 6 months old. His eyes would always light up when we put Wendee's music on. He would bop his head up and down when the first song on the album, "Animal Dance" began to play. Whenever we would go on car trips, having the tape with us would ensure a happy car seat passenger.
Now that my son is a discriminating toddler of 2 years, he is still captivated by the infectious rhythms and catchy tunes on the album. He just loves getting up and dancing to the music. I would recommend ANIMAL DANCE AND OTHER SILLY SONGS to anyone with young children. You won't be sorry

Dear Wendee....I listened to your CD and I just love it!! It's just adorable!! I love all the songs...but I especially love Clean Again, Thumb Pinkie Rap and Vegetable Stew!! Your voice sounded great and the fun inflections in your voice were just charming!! It is a really fun CD!! Not only would the children enjoy it, but, the adults would, too!! Keep up the good work!! GREAT FOR TRAVELING IN THE CAR! And fun dancing at home with too! Wendee's Animal Dance CD is loaded with upbeat songs for the whole family, especially the little ones. The tunes are easy on the ear and the lyrics fun to learn. Wendee and her CD represent good wholesome fun! There are songs with great lessons, like "I'm Gonna Brush My Teeth....", and "Look Both Ways". The kids can learn, while having lots of silly fun. My personal favorite is, "In My Swing" - brings back pleasant childhood memories. Close your eyes and you'll feel like you are on that swing again.

My 5 year old son loves this music. His favorite is the Alligator song (he loves alligators) and he has been singing this song since he first heard it. We both sing "Look both ways" when we cross the street. The songs are lots of fun and addictive. We happened to catch one of Wendee's shows when we were in Santa Monica last summer and my little one jumped on stage to dance along with the music. The CD is required listening several time a week.
