Helpful notes. I'm a teacher, so I got some good ideas for how to present concepts.

This book is wild! It is moooooooving. My daughter needed this book for her class. I had her read a chapter of the book, then read the cliff notes for the chapter. Hopefully this helped the book to sink in her head! Everything came in good condition.

An overall spectacular book about a group of rebellious animals who take over their farm from the humans. The book brilliantly satirizes the Russian revolution and is highly entertaining, while at the same time very educational. A must have for any book lover.

I absolutely LOVED this booklet! The descriptions of the characters were complete yet concise. By the end of the book, I felt as if I actually knew the animals involved!

I first read the book in 1992, my second year in college in central China, and in 1995, I had a book of my own and read it again and again. Now I have finished translating it into Chinese, wistfully looking for a publisher.I believe an interesting book like Aniaml Farm will surely have its Chinese edition around China one day. "all animals are equal, some are just more equal than others." Never did words ring so eerie, never did words ring so true. The philosophy underlying The Animal Farm and 1984 are so scary because they are so very close to reality. We don't have to imagine "what if the animal farm came to be . . . ?" or "what if 1984 came to be . . . ?" Because the animal farm and 1984, subtly, silently, with a viselike grip, already do exist. It is their proximity to reality that makes them terrifying.

Hi. My name is Lee. I am a Korean. It seems that many reviews show that this book gives us the reason that communism does not works well and doomed to fail. I think that the word "communism" should be replaced by the word "totalitarianism". Of course, social system under the dictators like Stalin, Hitler or any other leaders who ignore personal right should be hated and destroyed. But this book does not deny the needs of progress and reforms to our society. This book does not justify this real world full of unjustice done by the "fat pigs". That was not the purpose of the author.

I've read Animal Farm 3 times and each time I read it I get something more out of it. My 7th grade teacher made my class read it to illustrate communism. It worked great and showed us how tempting communism is and how easily it can spread. No matter how old you are, I suggest you pick up a copy of this book and read it.

My name is Nicole. I read the book Animal Farm by George Orwell. I thought that it was a very good book. It taught me a lot about Communism and the way people are treated under Communism. I liked how the author turned the idea of Communism into a book about animals on a farm. That gave me a better idea of what Communism is all about. My favorite part was when the animals started to realize what was going on. They started to see that they weren't equal at all. In conclusion, I thought that this was a very good book.
