From one of the all-time best comedies of all time, comes this soundtrack, the majority of the songs being excellent, in my opinion.

This would definitely be suited for Blues Brothers fans, what with the late, great John Belushi singing two of the songs. It has such a beautiful rhythm and blues feel to it, what with two Sam Cooke songs on it, and other R&B tracks.

There's "LOUIE, LOUIE"- the first of two classic songs sung by Belushi himself, but still, you have trouble trying to make out the lyrics! The Other Belushi song, is "MONEY(THAT'S WHAT I WANT)"

Then there are two absolute classics that really add to this soundtrack: Sam Cooke's "TWISTIN' THE NIGHT AWAY" and "(WHAT A)WONDERFUL WORLD", both performed by the original singer. Here, you get some of the best of R & B!

One of my fave musical highlights in Animal House, is the performance of "SHAMA LAMA DING DONG". And "ANIMAL HOUSE is just the joker song on the soundtrack.

"INTRO", short and sweet, has to be one of my fave scenes in the film, while "LET'S DANCE" is just a pure classic song. Ditto with "SHOUT"

A great soundtrack and must-have for anyone who loves the film and/or Belushi.

If you enjoyed the music in the movie, then I must say, get this albumn. Even if you don't like the movie (I think there is about one or two people out there), I would still say get this albumn. The soundtrack has some of the best songs, with some of the best lines of the movie spread throughout the albumn. This is a great albumn to listen to when you are getting ready to go out and party or play it at your next party to get the people up and dancing.

I love the Movie and soundtrack. However, I wish for this version had the dialogue as separate tracks instead of part of the song.

I thought it was great that i could find this online for a good price and it was brand new in the plastic wrap and the songs are great!

Because I was looking for a particular # on the Animal House CD ... I was very please to not only find it, but also pleased @ its speedy delivery. And, the price was right - such a deal! So glad I "met" ya' Amazon!

I'm hosting and DJing a toga party this summer ( 2009 ) and, of course, I'm playing the movie. The music will be played throughout the 12-hour event, along with lots of other stuff.

This is a classic Saturday night party album from a timeless comedy based on life at a staid, ivy covered college campus.

From the Faber College Theme by Elmer Bernstein to Bluto's (John Belushi) frat-house vocals on Louie, Louie and Money (That's What I Want) to the music from artists like Sam Cooke, Bobby Lewis , The Isley Brothers and Paul & Paula, the collection captures the energy and hi-jinks in the script or created by the actors due to their keen comedic intuition.

Takes you back to those glorious and somewhat scary college days...think Toga, toga, toga Contains awesome songs for road trips, ex. Tossin' and Turnin' and karaoke, ex. Shamma lamma ding dong.
