Shannon Whirry makes the erotic thriller genre all hers with her incredibly hot performance as Joanne Cole, a housewife with some naughty hobbies. She plays while hubby watches. The plot is OK and the acting by the rest of the cast is better than she usually gets to work with. This DVD looks really good but I'm not giving up my VHS copy of the unrated version. If they release that very hot version on DVD buy it. I will. Shannon Whirry may not give her best or most sensual performance in this movie but she blasts all the pretenders off the screen. Her physical attributes and sensuality combine with a real wholesomeness that comes through with enough truth to steal your heart.

Gernert/Garroni/Hippolye Productions/Axis Films made a name for themselves and an overnight star of actress and then newcomer Shannon Whirry with this steamy tale based loosely on a well known true story. Whirry portrays the character Joanne Cole, a woman on the verge...of wild sex, of 'generous' lovers, and of wanton violence that could end it all. Her husband (Maxwell Caulfield) is an overworked cop close to the edge. When he continues to ignore his wife's intimate needs, Joanne turns to others to fulfill her desires. When she is caught by David in a compromising position, she realizes the way to get his attention is to let him watch. What he sees awakens his 'Animal Instincts'. This film features a collage of familiar actors: David Carradine, very effective in his role as the sinsiter under-world type William Lamberti; Jan-Michael Vincent, as the corrupt city councilman Fletcher Ross; and ex-gymnast Mitch Gaylord in a small but effective role as David's cop partner, just to name a few. A sensual brew of violence and passion is mixed with some of the boldest couplings ever to be granted an UNRATED designation. This film also features a very effective original sound score by studio artists LIXX Array, whose synthesizer renditions are some of the best compliments to the already excellent direction (Gregory Hippolyte) and provactive cinematography in recent memory. If a 'racy' movie occasionally is your 'oyster' treat yourself to this gem that redefined the term 'Erotic Thriller' in 1992, and set the standard by which all others of that genre are now judged. Excellent!

Whirry has got to be the hottest erotic flick actresses in a while. This flick really has a crazy storyline to it, but seeing Whirry in those scampy undergarments and in the flesh is an absolute treat. Sex isn't taken to the extreme, but eroticism reigns throughout. Overall, your basic sex flick with more drama to it.

Of all the films that Shannon Whirry has been in, this is her best. I had the opportunity to view this film's NR director's cut on video and would gladly pay the cash to buy this DVD again when that version comes out. I would rate the NR version at 5 stars. Best of genre!

Shannon Whirry and her fantastic body is what makes this movie interesting. Also the other plot areas such as threesomes and voyeuristic husband lend a bit of humor to this erotic film. I've watched the video over and over again and was looking to add the DVD to my collection. The inflated price for some may be worth it but I will wait on the sidelines for a more expanded release and hopefully lower price.

he only words I can think of for Shannon Whirry is "WOW". This is one of the sexiest women I have ever seen. Her performance was great.

If you like to watch movies with lots of skin and not much plot...This is your movie. Shannon Whirry is at her best and there is more skin B-movie-ness for the whole family!
