While I agree with another one of the reviews about this book's lack of emotion and romance, but I have to admit I really liked it. The stories are short but there enough brothers to make the book worth while. The males are strong, overpowering alphas who tend to dominate everything and everyone around them, but the sex is so steamy you are left gasping for more.

Their Viking ancestors left the Ursus clan cursed with the blood of the bear and mystic skills but ANIMAL LUST sexual appetites that are never satiated unless they bond with their soulmate.

"Martin". In 1800 innocent Jane fell in love and gave her virginity to Jonathan whom she thought loved her and would marry her. Instead he left her after he took what he wanted. When she meets Martin, he vows to Jane that he will give back what he lost.

"Mac". In 1801 Rasalette seeks her life mate, but the men selected by her caring royal brother don't appeal to her until "Mac" arrives.

"Orin". In 1817 when Wilhelmina sees Orin ride out of the forest, she knows she has found her beloved; now to convince him that he has too.

"Devon". Following her husband's death Amanda returns to the home of the aunt who raised her. There she meets Devon, whom she once loved and knows still does.

I really liked the book but I would have liked an epiloge at the end to find out how all the brothers were doing after they all found their mate.

Did I miss something? Was there suppose to be a plot line somewhere? You think I would have learned my lesson by now in that Aphrodisia never publishes anything that isn't sex for the sake of sex. Every Aphrodisia novel I have ever read, has had a complete lack of thought or plot line.

This novel consists of four different stories, each dealing with one of the four brothers and them finding their mates. While each brother's story was different and they each had various sexual tastes, the overall novel was kind of boring. The brothers all blended together and lacked individual personalities outside of the bedroom.

I felt like Danes gave us bits and pieces of what could have been a plot line, but she was more focused on the couples hooking up than formulating an actual plot. I wish I could say that the erotic scenes made up for the rest of the novel, but in all honesty, I have read much better. I do give Danes credit for giving each brother completely unique stories from each other. It's what actually kept me reading. I was curious to see each brother find his mate and how he planned on pleasing her. I have to say Devon's story was by far the best and worth reading

Animal Lust by Lacy Danes is four erotic stories in one. It's about four brothers (Martin, Mac, Orin, and Devon) cured with the blood of the bear (they are Ursus). Each stories is about each brother claiming their mate.

I really enjoyed the book. If you want to read a book full of primal erotic sexual intercourse then this is the book to read. The book is really well rounded with the romantic connection between the characters and how it's fulfilled in the claiming. I give this book a four star because I loved Mac and Orin stories. I loved that Mac could sense peoples emotions just buy staring at then. Also I liked the conflict of the story because Rosallette (his mate) masked her scent and Mac thinking that she wasn't compatible with him had sex and initiated the mating. I loved Orin story because he felt like he didn't belong with his family due to the doubts of his father being his father and he felt like he couldn't control his brut force. He seemed the most strong jet to me he was the one that needed the most love. He found love with Wilhelmina his neighbor. He was the strong uncontrollable and she the innocent virgin.

I would truly recommend this book to people who love to read steamy scenes with primal and instinctive sex. This book to me was the best of both worlds because it's Paranormal Historical Romance and truly erotic

it was ok. I only like two of the storys (2,4) the others I did not like I just wish she stuck with one brother and than write follow up books about the other ones.

Went up into flames reading this. Its a quick read, however, a delicious one at that! Definitely a keeper on my nighstand.

I read an excerpt of this book in another novel and was intrigued enough to check it out. The action and sexiness of it pulled me along and I found it an enjoyable read I'd recommend. Good title and cover too--always a plus. And, this got a great review in Romantic Times, so that also brought me to give it a try.

I just finished Animal Lust by Lacey Danes and find it one of the most erotic, heart pounding, sensual books I have read all year. If you like the idea of a 17th century son of a Duke breathing down your neck with wanton desire, this is the book for you. The men are fierce, hot, large (in every way) and passionate about what they want. It completely brings out the imaginative female submissive side in all of us.

This book was very good and it had some interest connectiions. But it left my wondering if I missed part of the story line from Brother to Brother.
