Purchased this as a 4-for-3 for my 11-mo-old nephew for Christmas. My son (3) and I previewed all the books. This was the worst of the bunch - only 4 pages long and just simple pictures with one animal on it. No story. I'm sure there are lots of other better books out there for children with farm stories/animal sounds.

My 14 month old really enjoys this book. It has the cow, pig, sheep, cat, and dog in it so it's not too much to throw at him at one time. The colors are bright too. it so much, It's simple enough to not overwhelm him yet he learns from it too.

I purchased this for my son thinking it would be fun for him to learn his animal sounds with. I find it boring, and he doesn't seem to enjoy it as much as I would hope. The pictures are cute though.

My 12mth old loves this book. As put by another reviewer, the pictures are bright & simple without over-whelming the child. He loves to flip through it, pausing to stare at the words. Higly reccommneded for children beginning to learn about animals & the sounds they make.

Animal Noises,

This is a great book for babies age 8 to 9 months and up. It introduces baby to different animals and animal sounds. They learn the names of the animals and you can talk to them about the difference between the animals and the way they sound and other fun things. It holds up to little fingers and hands to prevent tearing. Buy it new if your baby puts things in his mouth. It's beautifully illustrated, colorful and so cute.

Very Simple,

This is a cute book. My son is 15 months and I would say advanced for this book. This book would be better for a baby just starting to turn pages. It does not really hold my sons interest. But the book itself is good - I just got it for him a little to late.
