This game has been a blast for both of my boys, my 7 yr old (who wants to be a vet) and my 10 yr old too. It has actual cases from Animal Planet shows, and gives them some experience caring for domestic & wild animals, including laser surgery. Great DS game! The incessant Meowing of the Kitty supervisor could get old, but listening to any of these games as a parent can be tedious, but that reminds you to tell them to take a break once in a while.

I am 10 and I bought this game with my own money.

It was really fun...while it lastest.

I got this game on a Thursday and finished it on Saturday. This game is great besides that.

You can take care of baby animals, do surgeries and learn while you do it. This game is good for all ages 7 and older. But you can finish the complete game way to quickly.

My 10 yr old daughter loved this game, it definitely peaked her interest in becoming a vet. However, she was able to finish the game in less than a day. It definitely needs more events/challenges added to make it a more worthwhile purchase. May be best to consider this for a younger child.

My 14 year old daughter states "This is a fun game. I love animals and there is a lot to do on this game. I also have Zoo Hospital for the DS but it is not near as fun as this game."

My 11 year old daughter LOVED this game for the ONE day that it took to complete it. There was nothing new for her to do after she had already taken care of all the animals so I'm sure she won't play with it again.

This was a fun game, i got it for Christmas of last year for my DS and have completed the game several times. There is a verity of pets to help and okay graphics. the graphics are of course not lifelike as they are animated but they are good and it was very fun. The treatments are lifelike and it has not just domestic but wild animals as well. Although changeling at first once you play it more often it becomes fairly easy. Sometimes you want the levels to be more challenging but it's a good game overall. You start in a city and move on to the USA, i'd rate this game over all 9 out of 10. It's fun, lifelike and is good for all ages.

First of all it repetes itself, not realistic,horrible graphics, and too hard! Everytime I try to do a shot, I really do fine, but it tells me i did it sloppy! The sounds are annoying, a cat meows every time you move in a checkup, then no mater how bad I do, It tells me I got an A plus! No challenge. AND LISTEN TO THIS!!!!

I WAS DOING A CASE ABOUT A HORSE CALLED "TIED UP IN KNOTS" HERE IS WHAT IT SAID EXACTLY FROM THE GAME
A PERSON SAID HIS HORSE JEREMY IS KIKKING AND THRASHING ON THE GROUNG AND THE PERSON IN THE GAME THINKS IT IS COLIC. SO I FEEL AROUND ON THE STOMACK, GIVE IT AN ANASTETIC FOR SURGERY, GIVE IT AN EX-RAY, AND THE HORSES STOMACK IS ALL TIED UP!!!! NOW IT SAYS USING THE LASER, CUT THE INSESTINE JUST BEFORE AND AFTER THE TWIST! OMG THIS IS THE INTESTINES! THEN IT TELLS ME TO TAKE IT OUT WITH A TWEEZERZ!THEN IT SAYS TO STRAITEN IT OUT! THEN AND OMG! IT TELLS ME TO PUT IT, THE INTESTINE OF THE HORSE I JUST TOOK OUT, TO STRAITEN IT AND PUT IT BACK INTO THE HORSE!!!! OMG OMG OMG! THEN I HAVE TO STITCH IT BACK TOGETHER! NOW DISINFECT THE INTESTINE! NOW GIVE IT AN ANTIBIOTIC SO IT DOES NOT GET AN INFECTION! WELL I GUESS I WOULD GET AN INFECTION IF SOMEONE WAS PUTTING MY JUST TACKEN OUT INTESTINE BACK INTO ME!

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!

This game looked good in the store, but when I started to play it after a little bit I started to get bored and it repeated itself everytime. I thought there would be more to do such as cleaning stalls and changing water. I thought the grooming would be more interesting. I really don't recommend this game if you are looking for a vet game, because it is too hard for under 8 and too boring for older kids.
