I would have given this book 5 stars. The colors and design are fantastic! The reason I didn't is because some of the pop ups are poorly attached to the page and some tore even with gentle opening. Our 10 month old is fascinated with it however, even though I don't let her really touch it since it can tear easily. This book is better for an older child as I'm sure it was intended. I just wish the pop ups were attached more securely.

While the pop ups in this book are indeed a bit fragile, they are amazingly engineered and will fascinate both you and your child. The illustrations are bold and fun, but the remarkable pop ups are definitely what make this book great. My 15 month old is absolutely obsessed with this book, though I do have to constantly remind her to be gentle with it.

The pop-ups in the book are intricate and beautiful. Our 16-month-old son loves looking at this book, but is too tempted to reach out and rip one of the pop-ups right out of the book. Like other reviewers said, definitely for older children, or supervised with younger children so they don't destroy the book.

Wow is for the pop up art... really cool. Too cool to let baby handle it too much, haha. But definitely gets her attention (although her absolute favorite is the Nursery Rhymes book).

The Woohoo is we received our book... with a handwritten note on the inside from the author (bought this thru Amazon)!!! How awesome is that?!?! That was so unexpected and completely over the top nice of him. =) Thank you!!!

To be completely honest, I would have given this 4 stars since I wish the paper of the pop-ups was thicker, but the note was worth the last star ;).

I bought this pop up book for my 9 month old thinking that it would be just like his other pop up books. Well I opened up this book to read to my son and I was AMAZED by how intricate the pop ups were. I usually let him grab onto the pages of the pop ups, not this one! It is WAY too pretty to be grabbed! :) Love it, will probably save for when he is older.
