Setting the stage with the Silk Road and desert caravens, this book puts COlumbus's voyages in context for young readers. VERY interesting information on the Sargasso Sea makes this book stand out from the rest. Mild and non-controversial, this book is good for reading aloud with a smaller child or for an early grades report. And that Sargasso Sea page is interesting for everyone in the family. |
