Book Description

November 23, 2009
It is always hard to say good-bye. As Catholics, we know that our human loved ones are called by Christ to join Him in eternity, dwelling in heavenly bliss before God, enlightened by the light of glory, sharing in the fullness of the eternal life Christ has prepared for us. But what about our pets and the animals that fill the earth and our lives with such special beauty? Does God have a place for them? Where do animals go when they die? Are they just dust? What is the destiny of creation? Does God really care about any of creation besides man? Would God, the Author of all life, cast the non-human creation He called "good" into nothingness? Isn't it illogical to believe that God would find worthless that which is "hard-wired" to give Him praise? Is it so hard to understand that animals created by God with a particular good would not also have knowledge of their Creator?
It is a universal concern for stewards of creation who, in their humanness, consider such questions in their hearts. I write this book as a way to explore tenets of the Catholic faith that address creation; of brinigng insight and spiritual truths to animal lovers and lovers of creation; and as evidential support of the truth that all creation was given its order, time, place, and purpose from its Creator, who sustains and preserves it at all times, always!

Animals in Heaven?: Catholics Want to Know!

"Animals In Heaven? Catholics Want To Know" has been such a blessing to myself and my family. This is such an age old question and a question my Granddaughter asked me right after reading this book. Now, I was able to confidently answer her question with a resounding yes! of course animals go to heaven. Our creator loves all His creation and Animals in Heaven confirms this with biblical research and thoughtful study. How sad that many people think that their pets have no souls and just die. Now, after reading this book I have peace about this long debated biblical topic. A must have book! Excellent.

This review is from: Animals in Heaven?: Catholics Want to Know! (Paperback)
Animals in Heaven? is a book that clearly answers the question, do animals go to heaven. It is a methodical walk through biblical truths and supporting evidence that God DOES provide for all of creation and that includes our beloved pets. I particularly like the way that this book explains the difference between God's design of a human soul and how He has prepared for the existence and destiny of His other creatures. I see so clearly now the divine providence that exists for animals, though they do not have souls like humankind. This book brings clarity to a question that everybody has an opinion on, and one that deserves the truth. This is it. A really great read!
