This was the best book that I have read in a very long time,it teaches children about the moon and other planets,and the same time it teaches children(India)just a little bit about their own heritage. I think the owl was extremely wise in a very weird way!!This was a great book and I would recommend this to all children no matter what their age is!

hi everyone i recomend this book hifhley to you it is a story about animals and they go up to the moon in a space ship. i really enjoyed this book. it is a very educational book but at the same time very fun. i recomend this book highley. i read it over and over a gain and learn something new every time. i think every child a round the world should have this book. i loved it so much. i think that if you had the chance to buy this book i think you should definetly buy it.

The Animals Journey to The Moon is a very good Book. I love all the animals. The wise old owl is cool. I love it very much. I wish I could go to the moon. Maybe I will some day. The book is so so so funny I hope people young and old read it because they will like it too.

I really liked. It was interesting. I really liked learning about NASA and space. It was a little hard for me to read, so my mom had to help me with some of the words.

In the story, three animal astronauts and their advisor--a wise owl, journey to the moon during the Apollo 11 space mission. Through their exciting adventures, these animals learn all the scientific facts about space travel: Escape Velocity; Zero Gravity; Orbital Paths; and Centrifugal Force. Learn about the moon and the mountains, craters, plains, atmosphere, and gravity. The sun's structure, energy, solar winds, sunspots, flares and prominences are featured, too. The book covers the entire planetary system of our sun and much more. It includes folk-tales and myths from India about a rabbit on the moon, and solar and lunar eclipses. The book was originally published in India and was translated into English for publication in the United States in 1999.
