Good Start, Awful Finish
I bought this DVD years ago in a sale, and recently rediscovered it on my shelf. What starts out as a poorly produced but ultimately harmless concert turns into a dreadful combination of overdone remixes and embarrassing para para dancing. Ishida Yoko does fine with the singing, but everything else was just cringe-inducing. Shame too, because she is one of my favorite...

I bought this DVD years ago in a sale, and recently rediscovered it on my shelf. This is a great DVD set for fans of Yoko Ishida and para para music. Not only do you get to see her 2006 US tour highlights, but you get instructional videos on the Para Para 101 disc. It includes step by step video lessons for the dance moves for three highlighted songs using two American dance instructors, full videos of the dances featuring the para para team and interviews with two of the performers and Yoko herself. Play each selection in repeat and mirror modes to learn the moves. The first disc has several of Yoko's music videos for anime pop singles. Enthusiastic and easy to follow. Highly recommended!
