From the Author

Note from the illustrator  : Every picture in this book is a long process from idea to final art. As an illustrator, one of the things I have to think about is: what does this character look like? It's only the author's word and imagination that can bring them alive. The illustrations are as important as the story itself because they show the reader how the author has imagined the characters, and also bring the story alive.

The author has written several quick help books for parents and kids including How to Motivate Your Child,Bullies and Bullied, Time Management for Boys, Time Management for Girls, and also illustrated children's books: Animellis island fantasy series, What is causing the scary nighttime sounds?, The Three Ghost Brothers, Mice and Owls,   and a management book called The Stickmen and the Kindling Strategy.

From the Back Cover

Animellis Island Book Two: Up, Up, and Away! tells what happened to Herbert Hippopotamus. Herbert was blown away by the hurricane winds. Henna and Henry started looking for him. They have to cross the ocean in order to follow the hurricane's trail. They meet new friends and face difficult and scary situations.
