Product Description
Robo5
Robo5 comes to the Amazon Appstore!

Robo5 is a 3D-Action-Puzzle game that gives you control of a tiny robot climbing from the bottom of a mountain of boxes all the way to the top.

Enjoy hours of mind bending fun on your Kindle Fire and Fire HD while helping Robo5 escape from the freezing cold lab. Marvel at the games steampunk charm while completing a journey of self identity.

When Every Push, Pull or Drag Counts

Each level consists of a series of boxes stacked on top of one another. The goal is to push, pull, and climb these boxes to reach the top and advance to the next level. With every level completed you will be rewarded with secret information. Do well, and you might earn enough stars to learn something new!

It's a simple premise, complicated not only by tricky level design, but also by the inclusion of boxes, which aren't always what they seem. Some will float; others will crumble under our robot friends feet. Manuever Robo past blocks that are set to explode and electrocute; while others are just too hot to handle.

But WATCH OUT! If Robo runs out of battery power before he reaches the top then it's all over.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun addictive game February 10, 2013

This says Kindle Tablet Edition however I own the first edition Kindle Fire and found it worked well using a stylus. For those who say there is no tutorial, or instructions you're incorrect. When the game opens, at the top of the screen near the right is a Help Button, click it and you'll find not 1 but 4 pages of instructions to help you get through the game. I cleared all the levels in the first area using the stylus in less than 20 minutes but certainly would not have done so without reading the help section.

I always turn the sound off so can't comment on that.

Graphics are very nice, and I find that not being able to see where I am going in the level (except when it opens) a plus. It keeps my mind focused on where I am, what I am doing, and going step by step to get to the top. Not worrying about what is ahead.

Your mileage may vary however but altogether I find this to be a fun FAOTD.

4.0 out of 5 stars limited version February 3, 2013

this is a really good game. it's not too hard, except for when i get stuck and then i really wish there was a "hint" option. for the first few levels there's sort of a giant hand that guides your own hand and shows you how to do things like move boxes. it is very helpful. i just wish it would return when i'm stuck & unable to get to the top.

this free version is limited to 5 stages. each stage has about 8 or 10 levels. you can buy the full version from within the game only, and it doesn't tell you how much it costs. i think i will stick to the free version because chances are i'll get bored (or frustrated) before i run out of levels.

the graphics in this game are excellent and the sound is good too, in an arcadey sort of way. i only wish there was a "hint" button. maybe it could have you lose a star for each hint you use. instead, i just get stuck and then i have to quit the game and try again later with a fresh brain.

Sometimes it doesn't recognize my swipes and that can be annoying but it's still pretty fun, it's puzzling and makes you think.

1.0 out of 5 stars Won't play! February 15, 2013
Verified Purchase
I love the part of the game that I was allowed to play. It's something different and challenging. I bought the full version and my kindle and my phone both say I own it but I can't play past level 2-4 on either device. Developer needs to fix this! I would like to play it since I bought it!

I bought the full version and wasn't able to access the full game at all. I hope I can get help fixing this problem or get my money back. It's too bad the full version doesn't work bc I really liked the game. Very addictive. JUST don't spend your money on the full one.

I deleted it because it was too difficult. Just recently, I downloaded it and I liked the challenge. It does get a bit frustrating, but I will keep this.

It's not bad. I would download it due to it being free but don't get too excited. It's still pretty decent for being a free game though.

The backgrounds are interesting, and the concept is neat, but I quickly lost interest when playing this on my Kindle.

This game really makes you think about directions and action/reaction movements. I like all levels except for the "timed" sections!
