This book is very good. I find it worth the money. It is about 5 kids that have the power to morph and a young Andalite. They saw a horse near zone 61 that dialed a pay phone! As the horse walked away, they saw a Yeerk come out of its ear. Then Cassie, Jake, Ax, Rachel,Marco and Tobias go to a race track and morph into horses. They go to zone 61 and follow a group of Yeerk horses...

While this isn't the most gripping plot written for the Animorphs there's a great deal of tongue-in-cheek humor in it. The mission is to spy on horses which have been infested by Yeerks (see Animorphs 1: The Invasion). To what end, they can't imagine, but it obviously has something to do with "The Holy Grail of Conspiracy nuts" Zone 91. This spoof of Area 51 is a high security military base which is guarding The Most Secret Thing on Earth. Notice the importance stressed by every first letter being capitalized. Some of the other reviews mention what it is, but I'm not going to spoil the fun if you're about to read the book. It turns out to obviously be an alien artifact, and the Yeerks want it so they can wipe out any and all proof that humans might make a connection that there really is alien life in the universe. The Animorphs go through an interesting process of acquiring the DNA of race horses so they can morph into them and infiltrate the dreaded Zone 91, involving explaining Ax as a blue horse. "Someday all horses will be blue," they lamely explain as they're caught, are forced to scatter, and Cassie ends up on the race track. The plot isn't the strongest in this one, but the book is simply a lot of fun. Cassie gets a bit more development in the fact she simply is not the coolest person under fire, which leads to even more humor. Marco, as always is the witty one with the quick logic to make the insane suddenly wise. For people who may have enjoyed X-Files and similar programs, but don't take the Area 51 conspiracy theory too seriously, this is a great, quick read, full of good laughs.

I got it I got it I got it!! It is SO GOOD. The plot starts out kind of cheesy, but it gets really funny fast!! You guys won't believe what the Animorphs find! I was laughing so hard when I read it and everyone was staring at me, but that was okay. Do you want to hear what they find? Sorry, I'm not going to go and spoil the ending. If you watch X-Files, you'll REALLY like this book. Marco tells a security guy that his name is Fox Mulder, and Rachel calls herself Dana Scully. You don't even want to know what Cassie comes up with for herself. Well, gotta go! See-ya-bye! Juliana

Ms. Applegate clearly had a lot of fun writing this particular one! This showed the usual fun characters and action, but the Zone 91 was simply a blast and she made sure to milk it for all it was worth. Great Animorphs addition.

There's a new rumer in town.dventuresSomeone has discovered an item that proves life on other planets exists. And they've been hiding it on a base called zone 91. The most secret place on Earth. The reson I liked this book is because in the book there were addventures and the reson that I did not like it because the kids almost got killed.

There's a new rumor in town. Someone has discovered an item that proves life on other planets exists. And they've been hiding it on a base called Zone 91--the most secret place on earth. Cassie, the other Animorphs, and Ax already know about life on other planets. They realize that the Yeerks will try to access Zone 91 to find out if what's there will threaten their mission. So the Animorphs decide to pay Zone 91 and the Yeerks a little visit. But what they discover is not at all what they expect.
