4.0 out of 5 stars So glad I bought this bra!
I finally bought this bra in 34G after dreading the thought of stuffing myself into my old 34DD bras. What a relief. The wide straps distribute the weight of my breasts very comfortably, but most of the support comes from the back band, where it should. I like the shape if gives me, very flattering. The nursing feature will come in handy when my baby is born. The clasp is...

3.0 out of 5 stars Supportive for the first few months, May 25, 2009

I am a 34G (size 4 with large breasts) so finding the right nursing bra is very difficult. I was excited when I first purchased this one, as I had tried over ten styles and it seemed to give the most support. However, after five months of wearing it twice a week and washing carefully, it has lost its support. My breasts slump downward when I wear it, causing embarrassing sagging. Its thin material allows nipples to stand out, which accentuates the problem. I've decided to try out an underwire bra simply because my cup size makes it impossible to stay "perky." For a smaller cup size, this product might be great. Before you buy, ask the seller how much life you will get out of the bra and if they will exchange it if it loses its support the first year, especially because it costs around $40 + shipping so you don't want to have to buy a new one after six months.

Zero lift, but much better than wearing a sports bra. I'm a DD and underwires were killing me.

The clasp is VERY easy to release and re hook. The lace is pretty, but it looks like a functional bra more than a sexy one. This is my first no under wire bra that isn't a sports bra and I am impressed with the shape and support.
I took one star off because it is so expensive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and supportive, January 17, 2010

I am a larger cup size and found this bra to be extremely comfortable. It washes well unlike some others that shrink. The clasps are a bit of a pain but not bad once you're used to them.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the nicest bra I've ever owned, July 26, 2009

I splurged and bought this bra. It fits well and it stays cool when it's hot. The nursing openings are easy to access. Worth the money.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst bra for large chest!!, December 27, 2011
By

I ordered this bra based on other reviews and I am sad I did. As a nursing mom my bra size is a 34H. This bra has so support and just smashed my boobs together. The fabric is very ichy in places. The only plus is that the straps were wide enough to support the weight of my chest. I bought a soft cup for fear of mastisis but now I know I have to buy an underwire! If you are an E cup or bigger I would stay away from this bra!

3.0 out of 5 stars Glorified sports bra... Minimal support, December 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Anita Maternity Women's Softcup Nursing Bra #5062 (Apparel)
I bought this bra because, frankly, choices are quite limited in wireless, large sized nursing bras. The bra looks pretty, even with a little lace to the outsides of the cups. When I initially bought it and wore it, I liked it. I am unsure if it's from the wear & washing but I have grown to not like it nearly as much. I hate that my breasts tend to smash together like a unaboob and spill out over the top... And yes I bought the appropriate size. I also don't like the framework design of the bra... When unclipped there is a narrow strap that you clip to that runs near the armpit. There is also no separation between the cups. Really it is a glorified sports bra with minimal support.

5.0 out of 5 stars very comfortable!, November 16, 2011

Very comfortable bra! The straps are wide and comfortable, and there is no scratching from the band. I am a D cup, and I find that this bra offers the right amount of support with no underwire. The cups are smooth under a top, and its easy to clip and un-clip the bra for nursing. Would recommend this one!

I had been eyeing this bra for a long time, and when I found it on a great sale at Amazon.com, I was very excited and ordered it. Quite a disappointment. The cups that looked both supportive and thick in the picture are actually made out of a very thin, flimsy material which is neither supportive nor thick enough to cover properly. The bra was not very comfortable either. It was not worth the $50 it was on sale for, let alone the $80 at normal price. Needless to say, I returned it. Poor quality and fit for a very expensive product.

However, amazon.com has a fabulous return policy - they even refunded my return shipping! I will definitely keep buying from them...just not Anita bras.

2.0 out of 5 stars Minimal Support, May 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This bra lends minimal support at most. The price it outrageous for what you get. There is no cup definition, partly due to there being no underwire, however it is also because of the design. I am large chested anyway and being a nursing mother I am even larger. I had to break down and buy a couple of the Motherhood cheapies until I can get to a store to try more on. I am located in an area that does not have many options. I was very disappointed in the amount I spent on this product for what I received. This is not a good deal and I would not recommend this bra. The support is equivalent to what you get for half the price at Motherhood. I wish I had better things to say, but there just aren't any. I would look elsewhere.
