Very nice but for heavy use get the thicker one,

This is a very nice chair mat. I had wanted to update our office from the ugly, impossible to handle plastic chair mats and finally found one at a very reasonable price. The product is SO easy to use, it rolls up and there's no curled edges to deal with. It looks very nice and I like bamboo products. The only negative (I should have done more homework on this) is that I should have spent more money and gotten one heavier than 5mm thick. The person using the chair that this pad is on is about 160 lbs. and after only two weeks it's pretty marked up even though the chair has soft casters. I think if I had gotten the heavier one it would have held up better. You don't notice the marks so much from a distance, really only if you're standing on the mat.
